    Great review bro! And I'm sorry for your loss, honestly. I have a best friend I wouldn't want to lose and he is also my bass player :/ so my condolences. And thanks for the review. I use the red jazz iii but I always used the black ones before. I never knew there was a difference.

    I love the red and even the black jazz 3's. I tried the stubby's and even the jazz 3 tortex you showed which i played with for a while but wasn't for me. My new picks are the John Petrucci Jazz 3 and the Dragonheart pick. I have Two of those but only use the original and not the hardened one. But the JP jazz 3 is my go to pick

    Some cool picks there indeed. I have tried a lot of those. I wish you could have thrown a Zenfire "Phat Jazz" in there. It's a truly custom made, innovative and unique pick (with a dedicated grip) and has tone for days. They got me away from plastic picks for good.

    Have you tried the primetone Jazz III picks? I hear a lot of Jazz III pick players switching to them. I think they're suppose to feel like they're already worn in when brand new.

    I don't really know what's happening, but I have these old regular red Jazz III that I like, but I bought a 24pc brand new pack of the Red Jazz III and find the picks a bit more flexible and glossier than the ones I already have. Did anyone notice something like this before? Idk if they changed over the years, or there's a range in the quality control that allows this differences, or even could be the case that I got some fake plectrum. I really hope it is the latter, even though I bought it from a well known seller, bc I dislike the ideia that Dunlop could agree with such variance in quality control, or worse, that they changed the "formula". Anyone?

    The Jazz 3 XL is somewhat larger than a regular Jazz 3, but how does the size of the Jazz 3 XL compare to standard picks, such as Dunlop Gator picks or Fender standard picks?

    • @sleepy4x
      @sleepy4x Před 6 lety

      They are just a little bit smaller than standard picks, but not much. If you lay them over standards you can see it, but I don't notice it while playing. They have the sharp thip like the regular jazz III.

    There is a lot of "I don't know" , "I forgot" , "Gosh I can't remember" and "I Think so". For the love of god, do your research before you post a video on the subject.
