Song for Malala by Muriel called The Fight
zhlédnutí 396Před 9 lety
Malala is a young woman who at 15 paid the price for her courage to speak up about and fight for her right to an education. She was shot in the head on her way home from school by a member of the Taliban. She survived to go onto be the youngest recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize. She continued to peacefully protest and push for the rights of all children to have the freedom to receive an educat...
Jazz Guitar Chords Walking Bass Style Of Joe Pass

This is a quick lesson for Jazz guitar. Good intro to learn how to play chords with a walking bass line. I recommend to learn this all together, not the bass line and then the chords, but learn the whole motion.
Slide guitar and Eric Johnson Fuzz Face
zhlédnutí 1,6KPřed 9 lety
Sorry about my horrible slide playing - I had a snapped nail on my picking hand and couldn't play with my normal slide technique (pick and fingers) aggressively. Eric Johnson Fuzz Face with a little delay through an Egnater Tweaker 15w combo.
Eric Johnson Fuzz Face In Style Of Eric Johnson

EJ fuzz face going through Egnater tweaker 15w combo with the bias setting at the factory setting and it sounds perfect. I have owned 5 or 6 fuzzfaces and this is the best.

Wicked review! .. Women In Love in there, too!
First VT review where I liked the sounds and ive listened to hundreds
I realize this is an older video, but can you tell me what amp model was used for the "sort of EJ tone' ? Pretty sure you said you used the tube od effect, but didn't mention the amp model. Thanks ! Nice job BTW.
To activate the noise reduction do I have to hold any other button together with the bypass one?
Absolutely brilliant video :) thanks for sharing
Nice demo and playing. Thinking of buying one of these, so I found your channel, the little intro part showing all the different subjects you cover made me flash on that scene in Step Brothers where they are Giving the presentation for Prestige World Wide : "Management, financial portfolios, insurance, computers, black leather gloves, research and development..." I like it it though, I want to make a channel just for fun about my interests, more people should do that.
Guy from Nitro’s name is Michael Angelo Batio….. awesome teacher on “ Speed Kills” series. Great player!!
If this pedal is good enough for Eric Johnson, its certainly good enough for anyone. You really captured that EJ sound!
What was the amp?
Okay, this is going to be a shot in the dark considering this was posted back in 2015, but I just picked one of these up and upon reading the comments, I think I got a significantly modified version of it. The only way I could possibly get this thing to distort at all was to put my Vertex TDrive (or my ODR-1 if I wanted something a little less Slipknot and a little more Brad Paisley). I haven't opened it up yet, but I'm kind of thinking that maybe someone swapped out the 12AX7's. Not only does it run clean almost up to 3 o'clock gain, but I got it because I live in an apartment and my B52 AT100 is just a leeetle too loud for my neighbors. That being said, I think my Orange Mini pushes more air at max volume. I want to fall in Love with this amp, but I was hoping it would be a little more versatile.
You have it dialed better now? Can we get the new settings ?
Came for the amp review, stayed for the blue steel look.
Thank you so much ! Are you using reverb ?
I have had mine for about 10 years, it is the best sounding 15 watt tube amp ever in my opinion. Granted, I had to change out the Original Ruby tubes for Groove Tubes, and change the Pre-Amp tube to a 12AT7 JJ instead of the 12AX7 , so that it wouldn't distort so early in the gain stage, whether Hot or Clean. But after that....OMG....this thing replaced my 100 watt Marshall JCM 2000 DSL as my gigging and practice amp. I later bought an EGNATER Rebel 30 , because I thought it would sound even better, with more clean headroom. But, no. The Tweaker is still a bit better. Maybe after a I do the Groove Tube and AT7 tube swap on the Rebel, it will improve.
What tube in your Tube Driver? Thanks.
Great video 🙏🏽
Thanks. I needed the help. I felt like all my bends sounded like trash and big farts 😭😂😂😂😂
Tengo este amplificador y antes tuve el VT20+ ambos son geniales, suenan increíble para el precio y lo mejor de todo que cualquier guitarra suena genial y cremosa en estos amplis de VOX.
It Sound like a violin isn't it?
The Flow is the new guitar pick that everyone's on. Maybe get that.
Just my opinion but... The difference between the modern and vintage are Modern= Solid state rectifier (punchy) and Vintage= Tube rectified (softer response). I tend to like the modern setting for a more blackface feel. It could all just be mental gymnastics on my part LOL !😄
What a great tone and playing! The pedals are nice and you nailed it. I really appreciate for this vid. Thanks!
There is a lot of "I don't know" , "I forgot" , "Gosh I can't remember" and "I Think so". For the love of god, do your research before you post a video on the subject.
Hi, nice video! What is the name of song in your intro ?
Seems like the Tube Driver adds a little fuzz that thickens the tone. They sound good.
I don't really know what's happening, but I have these old regular red Jazz III that I like, but I bought a 24pc brand new pack of the Red Jazz III and find the picks a bit more flexible and glossier than the ones I already have. Did anyone notice something like this before? Idk if they changed over the years, or there's a range in the quality control that allows this differences, or even could be the case that I got some fake plectrum. I really hope it is the latter, even though I bought it from a well known seller, bc I dislike the ideia that Dunlop could agree with such variance in quality control, or worse, that they changed the "formula". Anyone?
How did you do the jazz tone? It´s amazing in a Strat!
Very Eric Johnson-esque. I love it!
I'm sorry about your friend
Bonita combinación del tono de la Strato con el tono del vt+
Si, es genial, a mi que no le gustaba el sonido de la estrato, desde que la uso en ese mismo ampli, me encanta!
I em couldn’t em listen em any em longer.
Yeah jazz 3 is the addition for many lol..hey what was the beautiful intro music?...thanks for video 👍
What amp are you using ?
Good demo. The sound came in good, you worked it out well. Awesome picking!! . It!'s a great, versatile amp. Got mine in '13. It will give you any tone you want.
Thanks for the video and I'm sorry about your friend.
Some cool picks there indeed. I have tried a lot of those. I wish you could have thrown a Zenfire "Phat Jazz" in there. It's a truly custom made, innovative and unique pick (with a dedicated grip) and has tone for days. They got me away from plastic picks for good.
Good review buddy! Thanks for taking the time to make the video.
Why has the BK Butler Tube Driver not-been-Copied . . . to the same extent, as the Tube Screamer circuit? Both great. 2 different flavors of overdrive. The BK sounds more Noisy?
Why buy a clone when you can buy one directly from the man himself for $250?
Tasty playing and sound,.....just ordered one because of your demo ,...damn you ....lol
How did you had them set up in your chain
I think it sounds great. A bunch of people have said to get the Hendrix version but I like the dark blue one. Gnarly enough but clear enough. Thanks for the review!
U really should run ur treble and mid all the way to zero
Did this model have the bias control or no? What kinda tube?
Why in the world did you have the Tube Driver’s EQ all the way down (both bass and treble)? Sounded like listening through a pillow.
Thats for the violin like tone
Ask EJ.
Sounds great!
What are the settings at 4:20, for the ‘country stuff’?
Hmm im trying really hard to figuer out what i want to do. In about a year (after i finish making guitar payments) im looking to get a combo. I like what is called a british voicing. I guess im really torn between this and marshall dsl combo
Thinking of picking up the 80 watt for 175 Canadian locally - this video has helped me seal the deal
Were you going into a clean or dirty amp? Sounds great!
Fantastic playing and amazing tone I am going to pick up one of these amps if I can, I saw one for sale second hand recently. Might I politely suggest that you try using some 'double-stops' occasionally when you are riffing, your melodic solos will really stand out more and you have such a good ear and tone. Peace from Ireland mo chara..
