Using Meshlab for basic vertex and face selecting with multi-body STL files

  • In this video I show how the select tools work and how Meshlab treats faces and vertices and how they can be deleted.
    The tool for changing parts that I left out of the video is the "layers" tool which looks like a stack of paper next to the camera icon. Once the layer selection panel is up it becomes easy to move between parts or merge layers (parts) into one layer.

    Hey Brandon, just a "quick" question, how can I merge .stl files? I've added a label to my sinterbox in Meshlab but I can't export the entire thing as an .stl
