My wife won’t let me fish from a boat anymore, getting old truly sux. I love to fish and catching cats is my favorite fishing. They taste great deep fried!
I never lost a big catfish but I lost a largemouth once after it got close enough to see it had a mouth like a 5-gallon bucket. That was 40 years ago and I still cry over it. No way that fish was under 8 pounds. lol
Well, at least they're biting nicely, darn fish up here are biting so light, that they get off the hook before you can net them. Hooked into 11 walleye this morning, and only landed 3 of them. Then the monster 36 inch channel cat hit, and it was game on! Only fish that was hooked good, on Rapala Silver Minnow.

My name is Jeff.b I was very upsetting with Kincaid lake ky the rules is you can't fishing don't bite you only time you can fish is from 10:00 am to 5::00 pm and the handicap spot dock ramp. Was to close to the boat ramp no matter what kind of bait didn't help

Flatheads are my favorite. Around 7-8 pounds is the best in my opinion. We used to cut up fillets into "deep-fried popcorn catfish" and it was a hit.
