Was out there last week, surprised how many dead carp were floating downstream and along the banks. As usual, great video.

Awe heck, the guy in the cruiser was being nice. Those wave were little rollers. At least he wasn't barreling through kicking up 3ft cresting waves, like the jerks up here. Especially the guys running those old wooden 40ft to 60ft Chris Kraft cruisers wth single or twin V-8s. Nothing better than waves coming on that are higher than the sides of a 17ft aluminum Lone Star Medallion Runabout!

Those are probably mostly silver/Asian carp, an invasive species. The kill is pretty much a yearly thing. I don't know the particulars. Something to do with warm water, low oxygen, and a buildup of other gases in the water. It seems the fish we want to get rid of the most are the most affected by it. Imagine what it must be like on the bank in places. Phew! Catfishin' on the Ohio with Catfish Dave. Sounds like a line from a song. Thanks, Dave. No trophies but some good fish and a good time and that's all that matters.
