I don't take anyone's word for truth, especially someone who is literally there to sell you a product.
Anduin has always been the human element in WoW, and this makes it even more clear, with PTSD.. its a shame that his story wasn't told fully in Shadowlands that led him here, but the impact really comes through. I love how even though he assumed the sword stance that Arthas did in Wrath, his is the total opposite - fearful and powerlessness. It just makes me love this even more.
And I love how Chris Metzan came back and immediately said "look, we need to do something about that sword alright..."
Another creator pointed out that the Thrawn/Anduin cinematic could be seen as an allegory for Metzen and the players. We saw some shit, we left, and now it's time to come home.
This video was a mixture of exitement about wow and melting from cute baby noises.

Don't worry, I cried too. I've followed Anduin's life from the very young to now. I knew there was going to be a PTSD situation, but I think with friends like Thrall, he might get through it without losing his mind. And Metzen, just feels like...home.

I've watched several reactions, and this is the only channel I subbed to. I appreciate that you aren't too cool to show your emotions during that SUPER emotional trailer. It's going to be interesting to see Anduin's journey going forward. Seems like he has PTSD from Shadowlands, and who can blame him? And Thrall showing up to point out the real path forward, "...that sword was aimed at someone." Chills

I kinda love how they use a more "game like" aproach to the cinematic of classic wow. With the instance gates for example.

I wished they stopped reminding me how damn old i am, i still remember playing Warcraft 1 in the school computer room way back in the day
Old? Wow was my very first video game (outside of Majong and Solitaire) and I started right at BC when my adult kids gifted it to me for Christmas because they were playing, talking in a foreign language at Thanksgiving and I wanted to know what they were talking about. I was 51. I'm now 66, have 9 grandchildren (1 working, 4 in college, three in high school, and one a year from kindergarten). Yeah, Old. But still playing my gnome mage and loving every minute of it.
im sure microsoft will let them do them they have done the same for other studios under their umbrella so lets see how it goes.
I love the way they captured Anduins trauma, and the 'ringing' noise right before he snaps as if it were a fight or flight from being touched was amazing, you could see and feel the moment his heart rate spikes, he is very scarred, I do hope to see more of his recovery if you will over the trilogy of expansions and not just be this 'lets hold hands' and cured.
Not sure but anduin was missing after shadow lands events, in story years maybe 4 or 5 43:50

Silithis is an interesting zone, back in the day it was rarely visited by players but held the Raid to an old GOD - seems to be something in that storyline that blizzard holds important.
Lol, I will not return to Azeroth, but the new expansion always brings me back. Damn you, Blizzard! Pre-ordred.....

I got back ihto wow after having kids and joined a parent guild. They are gone now but i still handle baby aggro.

@@MissClickGaming it goes in depth with the features and goes into detail on what exactly warbands are, and hero Talents. They're doing the deep dive today at 3 PM EST so maybe that would be more your speed. It's supposed to be everything covered in the what's next panel but more in depth
Mannnnnn i wish i could just stick with one MMO but i always fall off due to money or loss of interest. I'm about 2 expansions behind in WoW if I were to start up again and nearly caught up in FF14 (just dropped that recently). I don't know what to dooooooooo
Me and the baby mamma had both of our kids during WoD cause it was the least 'impactful' xpac we've experienced xD then Legion hit and I went all in and she didnt like it at all xD now we just live together in a domestic partnership (ex's). Co parenting. Been playing since Warcraft 2 though..
I never played WoW before.. would it be easy for a new player like my self to get into the game? Would I have to go play all the old expansions? How good of a pc do I need?
It's straightforward for new players now. You won't have to play the older expansions. It's all upto you.
Only tough part is you won't understand the story while you're levelling since you will be missing a lot of all the history of wow. There are many lore channels online though to catch you up.
It's def one of the best moment to join wow atm.
You don't have to play through the old expansions, but the magic of WoW is the world, the exploration. Tbh, the story has not been a strong suit of WoW, but the world exploration is always what makes the best memories. The zones, the music, the experience, all very very good :D Take your time, don't need to rush. Explore, enjoy and have fun!
I feel like your reaction is the only one that truly understands that Anduin went through unspeakable evil in shadowlands. He carries so much guilt 5 years after those events and is still missing in-game. I have loved his character arc and this expansion will give him even more character development. Bring our king home!
I'm a bit worried that Anduin's feelings about the light might just antagonize Turalyon, who has gotten quite comfortable sitting on that throne. I wonder if there's going to be a clash once Anduin gets back to Stormwind.

I just don't like stupid people talking nonsense without knowing the world of mmorpgs and having no respect for games that helped the genre get to where it is. It would be foolish for me to speak badly of Ultima Online and Tibia saying that they copied something from wow when wow is based on them.
