1. Prater Park is a huge fun theme park located in Vienna. It's full of many attractions and restaurants for both adults and children.
2. There are many attraction in Pater Park such as the Giant Ferries wheel, rollercoasters, horror house etc.
3. Prater Turm, which is know as Prater Tower, is the best attrection for adrenaline lovers. After a bottle of wine, I think I would like to have ride on Prater Turm )))
4. I've ridden the Ferries Wheel several times in my life. The most memorable one for me was The London Eye as the view was breathtaking, it was something out of this world ))

1) Prater Park is a fun theme park with a vintage look and feel, which has specific charm and climate. The park has many attractions and restaurants with options for both children and adults.
2) There is the Giant Ferris wheel in the park. Also it has the bumper cars, horror house and rollercoasters. But the most enjoyable attraction in the park is Pratter Term.
3) Pratter Term is the attraction which take you at the height of 117 metres, twice higher than the Ferris wheel. It's for adrenaline junkies! I wouldn't like to ride is as I don't find it safe.
4) Yes, I have ridden the Ferris wheel. It seemed to be a usual attraction, so I didn't feel strong emotions while riding it.

2. You can find in this Park just usual things like Big Ferris Wheel, roller coasters, little electric cars, theme spots as scary rooms, etc.
3. I'd definitely ride it as I usually do. If you're in love with adventures and seeking sharp feelings that is your choice.
4. Yes, I Have. The last one was in Vietnam and as I remember it's one of the highest in the world, but I'm not sure. It was outstanding and breathtaking. The heigh was really huge that's why they use the closed cabins.

Prater park is a fun theme park with a vintage look and feel which has its own specific charm and climate and it is easily accessible by metro (like everithing in Vienna, so that Sarah gave up the idea of renting a car). There is relaxing nature with the Danube River nearby and it's definitely a wonderful place for photo shoots in any weather and in any season
2. This park has many attractions and restaurants with options for both kids and adults. The amusement park works during the wholr year. There are such attractions as the Giant Ferris wheel, one of which friends rode and enjoyed it, Pater Tower which is the best attraction for adrenaline junkies because it takes you at the height of 117 matres, twice higer than the Feriis wheel. There are also bumper cars and rollercoasters which seemed not the best to Claire
3. I certainly would like to ride Prater Turm, I totally like heights and getting adrenaline, I like any attractions related to speed
4. Despite I said that I do love attractions, I've never ridden the Ferris wheel, I just never wanted to) don't know why, maybe it's too slowly) but the telling about the amusement park inspired me to visit it when it's finally warm, so maybe I will finally give the Ferris wheel a chance!)

And do Americans or Britains often use the word "metro" instead of the "subway/underground/tube"?
1. Prater Park is a theme park with a specific vintage atmosphere. It is situated on the Dunabe river and has beautiful views for photoshoots in any weather and in any season. There are many nice restaurants and fascinating attractions in the park, such as the Giant Ferris Wheel, Prater Turm, bumper cars and horror house so it has options for people of all ages, even though they are adrenalin junkies.
2. Prater park has a wide range of attractions but the most exciting are The Giant Ferris Wheel and Prater Turm. The first one is about 60 metres high and it shows to visitors of the park the beautiful panorama of Vienna. Prater Turm is an extreme attraction for adrenalin addicts because it takes you on the height of 117 metres (twice higher than the previous one) and spins at the speed of about 30 mph.
3. I would definitely ride Prater Turm if I visited the park because I enjoy high speed and attractions, so the tower is a combination of both options.
4. I have ridden Ferris wheel in many cities of Russia. I like Ferris wheels but I enjoy only the highest point of the way. At the other points it feels just like sitting on the moving bench.

I have a question:
Why do we say differently in these situations:
1.On the lesson I was taught......
2. In my very first English lesson I was taught....
What's the difference?
On the lesson... ....in the lesson
at - это всегда конкретная тчк на кл' шкале.
Остальное тоже логично, кроме "писать в карандаше".
Хотя, если сравнить письмо с рисованием, то "рисунок был сделан в карандаше" - вполне укладывается в логику.
Ведь художники - "пишут", а не рисуют.
Кстати, а как будет по-английски, к примеру:
Художник написал картину тушью/ масляной краской? Ну и (в отношении "авангардистов") - пальцем/ руками?
Честно говоря, в такие подробности не уходила. Мне встречалось in ink - (написано) чернилами
И еще встречалось
oil painting / watercolor painting - картина маслом, акварель. То есть, тип живописи указывается перед словом painting

3. I guess Prater Turm is a high tower-like attraction. Way too extremal for me. Considering my altitude phobia, such machine would kill me within few seconds;
4. I tried the wheel when I was a child. It was slow and not so scaring. I felt tiny in this enormous space surrounding me. I enjoyed the view but dreamt to get back down on the Earth.
