So , I have a 107 with a Star Racing 30/30. I used the dB killer baffle. Think I bought that from Dennis Kirk. But I used that for more back pressure. Jared sent baffles that had zero back pressure
@@tripracer15 yeah I used the cutoffs that Jared sent and was super happy with sound and performance. My numbers with TTS tune were ~116HP and ~118 TQ. 107 as well.
@@tripracer15 ---> Having the flared end of the baffle facing the inside of muffler and the smaller end of the baffle facing the outlet of muffler increase exhaust velocity and the torque also. I have reworked Victory mufflers and Indian Challenger mufflers and have been doing this for 8 years. I have used many different baffle designs and used a dyno machine to chart the results, so I know what I am talking about. I also have this same two into one exhaust on my 2019, Road Glide Ultra that has a built 128-inch engine.
@Dnewman3402-6 so, I just poped end cap off and pull-out diffuser baffle...unless I pull out the long baffle that comes installed in the can, this little diffuser cant be turned around. So, did you pull the long baffle out of the can? And then turn that diffuser around? Lol
@@tripracer15 ---> I ordered my Khrome Werks two into one exhaust with only the short baffle. I then installed it with the two small allen head bolts. This baffle sound just awesome at idle.
@@tripracer15 I rode yesterday without the quiet baffle in. For local rides in state, probably fine but on a multi-day ride it would get annoying. Going to try the quiet baffle today. I’m coming from a stock header with the KW 4.5 HP+ which were nice and mellow in comparison.
I have the same cam and pipe on a 21 FLTRX. I don’t have any inserts on the 2-1 and it is deafening while wearing a full face helmet at highway speeds. Do you think the decibel reducing insert would take care of this problem? I like loud bikes but my current setup is abusive.
Nice deep rumble! I have Vance and Hines 2 into 1. It sounds more throaty.
The db killer is by far the best must have insert for a stock or mild can M8. No insert equals bottom end loss.
Won't argue that it's good for back pressure!
That sounds nasty 🤘🏻
Thanks!
Sounds Awsome.....💯/💯
Did you end up with the first db killer or the new one not available? I got both.
Running the new one
Same pipe and insert, but S&S 475 tuned TTS. Did you get the bike tuned with that insert Jared sent? Hopefully that's the way you went.

@@SJBagger those are good numbers. 👍🏼

@@tripracer15 Yes
You want the flared-out end of the last baffle facing inside of the muffler.
Really? Didn't know that...I'll give that a shot

Did the quite baffles cause any loss of performance?
Not that I could tell to be honest...just had it dyno'd with the dB baffle and it made 113 hp/114 trq.
@@tripracer15 Are those numbers on a 107 or 114? Thanks

How did you get KW to send you that second baffle?
Called them and spoke to Jared. It's loud af tho.

How is it?? With low end?
Runs like a beast with the dB insert in.
The DB killer insert or the one in video posted the small one?
