Sound test of Khrome Werks 4.5 HP Plus slip-on mufflers with and without Ripper Inserts. Khrome Werks: www.khromewerk... Part Number: 202711P Drag Specialties: 1860-1870
Love the video. I just recently put some Khrome Werks pipes on my Road Glide without the baffles. I don’t know which baffles to get. Your video really helped!!
I have tried all the combos on the KW 4.5 on my 18 RG ultra, I personally like the louvered in the right to eliminate the power dip and the ripper in the left.
Hi, I love the video. Are you able to clear up a couple of things for me please? It sounds like the pipes sound louder with the baffles in but it could be because we are not there to actually hear it in person. Are you able to verify that is the case and not a typo on the video for my piece of mind?
Baffles give it more of a ting ting sound vs no baffles which has a deep tone. Half and half may be the balance. Do you have performance upgrades on the bike?
I know it’s been awhile but if your just doing Slip-Ons you really want need one it’s just when you change headers and air filter is when it usually messes with the tune but then again even with the M8 I’ve seen do it all and dyno them they aren’t off bad as far the stock tune they aren’t as bad as the twin cams were anyways
Hey RJ. I wanted to see if you've heard the 4.5 Khrome Werks hp plus on an Evo. Just bought a '98 electra glide and I trying to decide which slip ons to add to it. I am stuck between tabs zombies and Khrome Werks. I definitely prefer the description of the sound you gave for the KW but I am concerned that they won't be loud enough. What are you thoughts?

With both baffles sounds amazing.
No baffles sound way better nice and deep
Sounds better without the Baffles
mannnnnn. put both baffles in and wake some people up

I dig 1/2 1/2. Best of both worlds with baffles in right and left empty. Through my phone speaker anyway.
Thank you, my friend 🤝.

No performance upgrades done.
Which ones would work better with true duals to help with back pressure
I like the RIPPER sound better IMO
Do these insert into the current baffles or do you pull the baffles and then put these in?
I thought they came with a stock baffle?
Do you need a tune for both baffles in and the slip ons ?
My bike is showing a check engine and a flashing abs and flashing traction control..

I have not heard them on an Evo, BUT from experience, smaller diameter pipes give a louder tone than large diameter pipes. Think 3” or 3.5”
Rippers sound almost exactly like the S&S GNX pipes
Baffle in right dide only def louder than left side only
What did you end up ultimately going with?
Never seem that..interesting.
Going to effect your performance but sounds good.
did you get it tuned at all ?
daaaaaam
I'm kinda digging the no baffles. What type of slip ons do you have on the work motor?
Khrome werks HP plus 4.5. No motor work done. All stock.
@RJ Motorman correct but was wondering what pipes you all had on your dept motors?
Screamin Eagle pipes
@RJ Motorman Really? Ok they sounded more like Ker Ker or Wild Pig slip ons. Cool
Weirdly i think it sounds better with the baffles
