Agree - I listen to other stuff and it just doesn't hold a candle to Lovebites. Everything else seems lacking in something.

Hi! Thanks for this reaction of Lovebites. I'd like to point out 2 things: 1. If the sound you are getting is the same I'm getting here, something is wrong. I've alredy listened to this song, in this exactly same video, about 15 times perhaps... and something is missing here for some reason... nuances of the sound have been lost ... something doesn't seem to be all right. But this could be my impression only, so wait for other comments. 2. I know you've got those 3 songs suggested and I love all of them... but for a 1st reaction it would be better, in my opinion, "Raise some hell" or "Shadowmaker". This band is incredibly skilled, they are always very tight, they are bringing up Metal all over the world - as an example, I'm in center Brasil! Anyway, I'm glad it's a "bang" and hope you pick up any other songs and so get to the right side of the 'Wolfpack" (Lovebites passionated fans). If you do, please listen carefully all the critics because this band is worthy another trying on this channel. AND they will bless you with many views on your videos, be sure.
The reactor has combined the stereo channels into mono, one channel in both speakers. This results in phase cancellation of certain sounds, muddying the overall sound & distortion, drastically altering their precise deliberate mix spread between our ears as looking at the band performing, particularly with their LIVE performances.

Seems most reactors bring this about in their editing process. Unfortunate, especially when the reaction could be enjoyable with the original dynamic & clear stereo mix as intended.

It's hard to guess which LOVEBITES song will make a person interested in the band and want to listen to other songs. 🤔It all depends on personal musical tastes etc. For example, I became interested in LOVEBITES after I first listened to "Thunder Vengeance" and "Rising".

@@GrayFox14 , you do have a point. But I consider de 2 songs you've mentioned also very good for a first impression. And there are songs that are really not appropriate for a first contact with the band like, as an example: Hammer of wrath. It's a good song that doesn't show the best of Lovebites, it's too average for non-fans. Also 'Stand and deliver' from the new album, which is minimun related to the previous work of the band (in my opinion, of course. I think it's an amazing song and performance, but characterized for a new Lovebites age, post-Miho).
Funny how in you pick up the Slayer vibe here (that's what they were going for), but think of One by Metallica during the solos, because when you look at the structure of the song, it actually also has a Master of Puppets feel to it, but in the reverse. Master of Puppets goes from chorus to melodic feel/bass movement to melodic guitar solo to bridge, then faster solo. Break The Wall goes in the reverse: faster/up tempo solo - melodic feel/bass movement - melodic/bluesy solo (Miyako is channeling her inner Gary Moore) to bridge/build up back to main riff.
It's no joke when everyone says that they can thrash not only better than all the guys, but do it better, and in heels.

Lovebites doesn't have a lot of breakdowns, but there are other songs that are overloaded with breakdowns, like "Overkill" by Jiluka, "Cremation" by Nocturnal Bloodlust, and "Damn" by Deviloof.
You have a good point, fans get really weird. If you don't like my favorite band, we can move on. No big deal. So, live is best with Lovebites.

Unfortunately, you modified the original sound from stereo to mono. This significantly reduces the sound quality and the overall listening experience. I would encourage you to retain the original sound quality when you produce your reaction videos. But that criticism aside, I enjoyed your reaction.

Any LOVEBITES song loses a lot if you listen to it in mono.... 80% of your viewers don't want to subscribe to your channel? Most likely, these viewers are not satisfied with something in you.
