The entire concert is amazing. As others have mentioned, after this opening track, the jackets came off and the ladies were much more comfortable and more active. "Dancing with the Devil" is particularly fun, since Asami gets to show off her R&B past with her vocal stylings.

It's a "We're Wearing High Heels" thing. I love when Midori, Miyako, Miho and Asami all go to the front and put one foot on their monitors in unison. Haruna is an absolute BEAST behind the kit, but a total sweetheart away from the stage. But my heart belongs to The Boss, Lovebites' own Steve "Bomber" Harris - MIHO! ❤️

Don't forget Lovebites. Come back to them at some point. I enjoy your reactions to them. They are my all time favorite band now. Inlove their stage presence. They have modernized 80's metal, and I don't feel they need to move around stage like sweaty men. I'm 62 if that matters, and have been listening to metal for 50+ years.

I think them being "static" for this song was intentional, just as the show opener, because the rest of the show they are all over the place showing each other support :D Out of admiration of her talent, Miyako is my favorite (check out her piano solo + Swan Song for more on that), but Haruna has this moment during We the United that just makes me smile ear to ear and giggle aloud. I don't know how she maintains her energy for a 19 song set.

Well, I certainly hope one of those two is Unlucky Morpheus ;) Their new album is still quite fresh.

  • @HorrorMetalMaestroRedrusty66

Agreed, everyone has their favs, I love the band, love all the members, but Miyako is my fav (I'm Gay, so it's nothing sexual), I just love her playing and I "feel" her attitude, she exudes this quiet but powerful "Don't screw with m, just watch me play and idolize as you should" ...lol The whole band, every member, is just amazing in every way.

Symphonic Thrash. Did I just make that up?
This was their cold opener, and only song wearing those tight jackets. It’s also among their most technically difficult. For some fun rockers that they run (in heels!) and dance (Asami clearly having fun dancing, expressing her power thru lyrics), check Raise Some Hell (party song, Zakk wylde) and Dancing With the Devil (Whitesnake, beautiful custom guitars, “did you think you were free?, running around with your collar on?!”), tho everything on this 2020 dvd is reactable and nearly flawless. [Looks like Raise some Hell got set to private (by a fan).]

Miyako, the dark haired guitarist and keyboardist always seems very reserved. In some other videos Midori, the other guitarist, is more lively than in this one. They do move around more in other songs. Miyako recently posted a video on her own channel of her unpacking her signature guitar from Dean. She much was more expressive there. The drummer Haruna is always a dynamo.
