Chaired by Dr. John Curatola, PhD, of the Museum's Jenny Craig Institute for the Study of War and Democracy, the panel includes Yuma Totani, PhD, and Rana Mitter, PhD, who delve into topics such as the Tokyo War Crimes Tribunal, the impact of Japanese war crimes, and China's role in WWII and its influence on contemporary nationalism, offering a comprehensive understanding of Asia's transformation post-WWII.
    This session is part of The National WWII Museum's 2023 International Conference on WWII presented by the Pritzker Military Foundation, on behalf of the Pritzker Military Museum & Library.
    The International Conference on World War II is the premier adult educational event bringing together the best and brightest scholars, authors, historians, and witnesses to history from around the globe to discuss key battles, personalities, strategies, issues, and controversies of the war that changed the world.     One wonders if the first speaker on the panel has every studied the reality of contempoey Japan. The second speaker in contrast is absolutely brilliant: coherent, concise, articulant and fact based

    This makes me think we in the United states should try again with our government organizations and constitution. Clearly something isn't working
