That's how you beat the uncanny valley! It feels exactly like watching cartoon Lightning come to life. The animatronics department have outdine themselves.

This is a pretty amazing animatronic but I don’t think there’s going to be much re-rideability. Just standing and watching screens is sort of a queue thing

They missed the chance to add 4d effects. It would have fit so well.
I'd say they spent all their Budget on that car. So no 4d. Guarantee that thing cost as much or more than the most expensive cars out there.

Thanks for sharing this show! I'll be there in a couple weeks to cover it myself, but I couldn't wait. In my humble opinion, the ending of this is far better than the ending of Cars 3 - because McQueen actually wins! So glad they used Chick instead of Jackson for the opponent. Oh, and the Leak Less Easter Egg was neat.
So much fun! We can’t wait to see it in person.

BTW, for the Bigfoot Presents Meteor episodes, I'm using Mater's song about Lightning McQueen for the episode "Stomp, Honk, Rock and Roll" and even McQueen's speech about winning and Doc Hudson's passion for racing in the final episode "Trucktacular Truckathalon". McQueen's speech would go something like this:
McQueen: Excuse me, Big Wheelie, I have something I wanna say. Do you mind?
Big Wheelie: No, not at all, McQueen. If you have something to say, please go right ahead.
McQueen: Okay, good. Thanks.
(McQueen drives to the middle of the stage)
McQueen: Hello, everyone! I wanna thank you for letting me and my friends take part in this year's Trucktacular Truckathalon! I gotta tell you, I had so much fun racing with all the friends I know and love, especially Doc Hudson, who I have to thank. If it weren't for him, I never would be a great racer. He's not only a great teacher, but also a friend.
Doc: Why, thank you, son.
Mater: Uh, McQueen?
McQueen: Yes, Mater?
Mater: Doc wasn't the only one who taught you a thing or three.
McQueen: (chuckles) That's right. Mater here taught me how to drive backwards, how to tip tractors, how to be a great friend.
Mater: Yeah, and then you go on to win your first Piston Cup! Whoo-wee!!!
McQueen: Now winning is great and all and that's something I still love to do, but Doc taught me at the end of the day, without your friends, it's just an empty cup.
(Doc smiles, moved by McQueen's words)
McQueen: Doc's passion for racing was inspiring! If he couldn't outrace 'em, he would outthink 'em.

How about that? As for your idea for a crossover of the "Stomp, Honk, Rock and Roll" episode from "Bigfoot Presents: Meteor and the Mighty Monster Trucks" (aka "Monster Truck Adventures"), I didn't know or don't remember Mater having a song about Lightning McQueen, so I wonder how it goes? And that episode is kind of embarrassing due to Little Tow having continuous stage fright, so how are we going make it more enjoyable than the official episode of the same name at all? Any ideas? Plus, you wanna know what I also find embarrasing? Lightning McQueen getting hiccups in a short (I don't get how that happened in the first place!).
@@CEO100able Thanks for helping me conclude this spectacular speech! I love the idea of McQueen inviting all of Crushington Park to a Piston Cup race in California. Three Piston Cup races were held at the Crushington Crasher Speedway: The Crushington Park 500, The Boo Boo's Bodyworks 400 and the Easy Idle 350. McQueen won two of those races and Cal won the last race there. As for the song about McQueen Mater sang, I wish I knew the lyrics. All you have to do is listen to what he's singing. Bottom line, I know the Cars Toons short "Hiccups" did sound like an embarrassing episode as well as L.T. having stage fright in "Stomp, Honk, Rock and Roll". But L.T. eventually got over it, thanks to his little sister Zooey. In the meantime, I'll try and search the lyrics to Mater's little ballad about McQueen. Once again, thank you for helping me conclude McQueen's speech for the final episode.

Amazing animatronic way different from the one from 2009 I remember seeing when I was 3. I'm now 13. But shouldnt McQueen have the fabulous lighting McQueen paint job.

I did not specify they had to make another cars land. I simply pointed out that they missed an opportunity to do something better than this. Also Disney World is the size of Manhattan if not bigger so don't tell me they don't have room expand. Oh and if they didn't have room to expand they would not have been making Toy Story land and galaxy edge.

I get as Theme Park visitors we will see things come and go and things take time but i kind of wished his mouth and his eyes were actually animatronic movements and not necessarily screens :/ Maybe in the future!
Have you seen the Mater animatronic on Radiator Springs Racers, we know it's possible but who knows why they didn't?
