I’ve been in rehab from surgery and one of the aids I called the wrong name (I did apologize). Come to find out two brothers work here and both at night. I found out where he is from and he said Kenya - I told him I just watched a video of someone from Kenya / part of the Kissi tribe (42 in Kenya) and from a particular village (I thought it was the last name). He knew exactly where it is and his family live about 40 miles from there. It’s a small world!

Love seeing Erica and Dallas developing their homestead! That calf is adorable! The homes are all a great mix of clean lines and color. Love seeing the kids entertain themselves! Jackson and Kaden are great at volleyball!!! We just dropped to the forties up here and had already shut off the heat. We toughed it out for a couple of days. Should start getting hot again today! No fun to be caught off guard by the cold!

My son was in the military and he was returning from a deployment to Jacksonville Florida. My husband and I drove up from Fort Myers to Jacksonville and of course like you said in the 80s and 90s. When we got to Jacksonville it was cold. The following day when my son was to arrive it was freezing and I do mean below 30°. We had to run out to Walmart to get jackets. Another great video! Thank you so much for sharing.

Both homes are so cute! Soft and soothing colors. Abbeyville is just up the road from where we live. Beautiful, quaint town, shops, square, theatre (if they reopen) Beautiful area. Can see why they would love to settle there.

This made me nostalgic for South Carolina. We lived there six years, in the country. My children went to school in Pendleton, but we shopped in Anderson. I was doing Visiting Nursing, so I was all over the area. I have been to Abbeville; a friend at our Mennonite church was from there.
A word of caution!!!! Buying a fabric sofa from a thrift store can turn into a big headache. i don't advise buying fabric chairs,sofa second hand. My neighbor did and it cost her many hundreds of dollars to rid house of an infestation of bed bugs! By time she got it under control her family was bitten and everything had to be thrown out washed etc. Both rentals are so cute!!! A very talented family!!!!

Both homes are beautiful! I was drawn to Cara's decor with more color and I love a small home; I am past the downsize age! The pillow in the chair in corner is so pretty! I thought her kitchen was perfect; except I guess they might want a table. At Erica's I really like the stone behind the stove and the openness between the 2 rooms. And, oh my, the property!!! That's everything!! WOW!! The boys were really hitting the ball good for their age. Impressed!!! Hope you made many good memories on this trip!! Blessings!
