Richard Tee is one of my favorites. Funny to see young Dave Weckl in the hot chair of GADD. We all wanted to be GADD in 80's Weckl got it.
The late and great Richard Tee a master on the Fender Rhodes . RIP Mr. Tee .
Hey Jude, don't make it bad, take a sad song and make it better! Remember to let her into your heart, Then you can start to make it better.
@@blackie8083 thank you buddy . I get that every time I introduce myself .
Young Dave was a beast !!!
Richard Tee, what a musician! The interview format is excellent - wish they did more of these.
The sax player has a beautiful tone, well done sir.
Alto sax 🎷 Lenny Pickett exTower of Power David Bowie aso you ca find him in the net. ❤️ Wesley
Your looking at one of the original tower of power horn player that played with Mimi and Doc
@@glennahsing4336 Lenny Pickett on Alto!
Richard Tee was big in Japan and I understand now why in some old school games you can hear songs that are clearly inspired by his style
Richard Tee was one of the greatest and known worldwide
@@wesleyplass2324Yes of course, it's obviously not limited to Japan but some occidental artists make it in Japan, some don't...
Wesley, I came for richard tee and dave weckl, but I stayed for your guitar licks. Soooo good, can't tell you how much I love when you n Richard trade bars on Virginia Sunday
Thank you very much I was a young kid and got the chance to play with my idols Richard and Lenny… thank you zack for listening so sensitive…
Thank you my friend, we’ve had a good time back in these days…
My gosh... Weckl's drumming is so tight and groovy. Amazing sound quality too.
Thank you for the upload. Peter Jaucgues was translating nonsense. But the Music is true art. I didn't expect Dieter Petereit being that good on bass. I only knew him from teaching Books back in the day. Richard Tee is one of a kind. First recognized him on Paul Simons One Trick Pony LP. His Playing was magical. Every musician that learns to play Fender Rhodes should see your upload.
Danke Achim, Dieter war echt gut… Liebe Grüße Wesley
Thanks for posting! Not too many videos of Richard Tee talking out there.
I found some unknown videos in Facebook
Richard tee is like medication..feels good music.
My goodness, I just watched the last tune and the sax player has an incredible breathing technique to play super long and high harmonic notes.
AMEN

There's nothing that Lenny touches that doesn't turn to gold. And altissimo gold at that. What a tight group!
That’s what I say…

Oh my god, that altissimo! Is that the guy from SNL?
Yes it is! Check out Tower of Power from 1973 and beyond another 10 or so years. That's Lenny!

Lenny Pickett ex Tower Of Power
David Bowie and many others
For context, this was taped in 1985. That was the year Lenny STARTED on SNL. He has NEVER missed a show, including tonight (1/27/2024).

Es war ein toller Abend mit nur einer richtigen Probe… deswegen plappere ich nur shit beim Interview weil da gerade die Nervosität abgefallen ist. Die folgende Nacht war legendär! Das Hotel wurde anschließend abgerissen 😂
