Saw Gadd Gang several times in NYC just one of my favorite memories as well as seeing Stuff with Cornel & Godon Edwards and Eric Gale as well as Ronnie Cuber Late show monday nights at Blue Note with Joe Beck ,& the good Dr.Lonnie Smith. The 1980's & 70's in NYC was simply the greatest era for going out to see fabulous musicians playing their hearts out in clubs like Mikels,Lone Star , B Breecker Bros club 7ave south, Bottom Line,,Blue Note etc God I miss it
Beautiful brotherhood and musical partnership with all of them, but especially Richard Tee & Steve Gadd- who played on so many legendary recordings and shows together. They just had a sound and a vibe that really clicked-one of the great partnerships in New York musician history.
Brought back so many memories of those days it made me cry.
R I P Richard & Cornell. great music.
RIP Ronnie. Saw the band at North Sea fest. FAB.
Gadd is from a another planet!

最後のシーンで、スティーブとティーが少し遠慮がちに挨拶するシーンは二度と見れないと思うと泣けるね。ティーは本当にブラザーみたいな存在だったからね。

Ty bro
Nice choice of music.
Ces 1 tres bon concert
Great hi! And you are a good boy.
These guys aren’t making any attempt to be “deep“ or special, or artistic. Steve has said, they just played music that they enjoyed playing together, and loved sharing that joy with the audiences, that’s it. Nothing more, and nothing less.
Also, nothing wrong with, great electric bassists, but come on: what a brilliant idea, to invite Eddie Gomez, who supports this thing so beautifully with acoustic upright bass violin - is generally only known as a serious, top-level post-bebop jazz bassist. But he sure can lay it down, can’t he?
Cornell Dupree at 10:24 just so cool 😎
Great! I saw Cornell with B Purdie and C Rainey about 17 years ago. Gadd as well but in EC concert.
I cover amazing tunes by fingerstyle etc. in my channel!!!
To good to be true!

The best live soul concert in the history of humanity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One would have to had to heard ever live concert to make such a statement but unable to comprehend that hearing is in the ear of the listener.

What year was this recorded?
With all due respect, how did Cornell Dupree even get any gigs?
Ce cons je lai vu en 98 sur a l'epoque de m6 jazz
Not the best night to record this ensemble. Seemed lackluster, they've sounded better.
That’s just silly
