Thanks for the close up. You saved me a 13-hour drive to check it out. I was just talking with a realtor about buying the town. It's way more run down than they led me to believe...

The town has been completely abandoned for 30+ years and probably mostly abandoned for decades more. Honestly, it’s in better condition then I expected. I used to love the desert, but anymore I find it depressing. Not sure what that says about me. I’m in Florida now and can’t imagine living back in the West now.

The irrigation pumps lowered the water table. It didn’t just become expensive- it became untenable.

The house i live in was built in 1910. Why dont yall come make a CZcams video of me sitting at home on my butt watching tv. It would be fascinating!!

Stopped there several times but I never crossed the fence line by the road. This town is owned by some folks from Germany. They have a contact form on their website but I have yet to find out if they ever check it or reply. It looks like the website is decades old.

Yeah, IDK if they would reply. This was filmed back when the channel first started, if I went there today I would def try to interview them. Maybe I will try to go back if I ever make my way out that way again. Thank you for the comment!

Peak fresh mistakes and expiration dates are found on food medicine. Laundry soap isn't something that goes bad. And if it did it would take one out of a long time.

@@themodernfrontiersmen bs. We have been repeating nothing. European ppl keep doing the same evil things and as they do they are destroying the world. No, to save your precious ghost towns, we have to allow for the actual history to go unremembered. These ghost towns were built by evil ppl and they do not deserve a place in history. Lastly, no group wants to repeat slavery but whites and that is what they teach their young today.
