  • In this video I create a better gear ring than the original that fits around the lens for follow focus. I will show how I come up with a new design and 3D print a gear for the Nikon 18-55 lens.
The Gimbal used in this video is below.

I have been using a TPU printed cell phone case for my iPhone for almost 2 years. My wife has one as well. It's held up super!

      It's good material.

@@The_Active_Region I even ran it through my Ender 3 without issue. I have upgraded the extruder gear to aluminum and the bowden tube to Capricorn brand.

Nice. every little bit helps. I modified mine to a Bontech. I bit pricey but the extrude never slips. It would pull the machine to the spool before it ever slipped.

The compatible Nikon cameras in Moza Aircross 2 are D850, Z6 and Z7. Apparently your camera is not one of them thus how do you know that it work with your camera before buying this Moza. I would like to know if my Nikon P1000 is compatible. Could you help.

Any camera that fits the plate and weight requirements can mechanically work. The only issue is starting and stopping the recordings with the moza. I could care less about that feature. I dont use camera control. It's easy enough to just hit the record button on my camera

@@The_Active_Region You are right. No big deal to start and stop but zoom is a problem as Nikon P1000 does only have buttons to zoom in/out. If it cannot zoom, I think about attaching on the Moza a Nikon wireless remote control ML-L7 that is a small and very thin controller. This devise allow me to zoom, taking picture and recording... Thank a lot for your advise.

Avoiding zooms during recording is more a professional look anyway. Just stop record, zoom then record again.

BTW my aircross2 gear and this default ring are worst enemies. No matter what the size of the lens is. 2-3 turns and they disconnect. Total garbage

You need to fix that wall

I made the hole bigger just for you. In fact I have 16 hours of a steady video of that hole in particular I can send you since you are so concerned about it. It even has nice elevator music to listen to. Maybe after the second hour of watching it you will not care about it like myself.

@@The_Active_Region Don't make the hole bigger that wouldn't be a good thing. you should do a video on on to repair the wall

Dam delivery company busted it when they moved in our new sofa. Haven't had time to do anything about it. It is old horse hair plaster so it is quite soft and spongy after 100+ years. One of these days Ill get to it.
