It's been nearly 4 Years Since The Walking Dead Telltale Game ended with Take Us Back. In today's video, I update you on Telltale Games and Skybound Games and the potential next batch of Walking Dead Games coming! Telltale Games has just announced they received 8 million dollars in funding from Skybound and Hiro Capital to help release The Expanse and support the development of The Wolf Among Us 2 along with an unannounced title! Could we see "The Walking Dead Season 5" starring either Clementine or AJ - Could we see a new playable character in a new twd game - S4 had an open ending for a sequel starring Clementine or Aj or even a dlc/spinoff. Will Skybound continue with it The Walking Dead game is getting something new hopefully in the future from Skybound Games or Telltale Games. 2000 LIkes?

DTB I really want to see a new walking dead game about javier or AJ or most importantly CHRISTA or if it's not a new WDG I want it to be minecraft story mode because I really liked the game it's really touching and friendly and me and my sister love Minecraft story mode and The walking dead but if it's not one of those games I mentioned I will be grateful for what the unannounced game will be
Deep down, I would love a sequel so much but it's way too risky, I'm too scared they'll ruin Clem's character like they did in the comics so I still prefer to let her and her friends live in peace.
But remember we would be comparing a new and improved Telltale to Skybound I think I would trust Telltale easy!
@@DomTheBomb I'm aware of it and I trust Telltale ^^ But since Skybound has started a sequel with the horrible comics, I prefer to hope they announce its cancellation before being optimistic about a new season.
Maybe we get a game focused on some of the loose ends of TWD.
Specifically, what happened to the 400 days cast in Howes.
It would be inconsequential to the grand scheme of things and still be very dynamic as the characters are determinant.

Nope season 4 were garbage, and Life is Strange True Colors shows that telltale are no longer the kings of the genre, I would be happy to be surprised that season 5 is amazing but after season 4 and 3 I have 0 faith in them

Season 3 gets too much hate. I really liked Clementine in the play through I did. Though she seems way more older in s3 than s4. I’m thinking it’s probably because she was in a really stressful situation trying to get back to AJ.
I think season 3 flashback were handled poorly. It doesn’t seem fair to have Kenny die if the player choose to go with him at the end of s2.

thats really smart and genius, and what about molly from twd season 1, or heck even continue the story of javi garcia from season 3, there are alot of open possiblites!, and a spinoff is definetly possible and even more proof is that they made the walking dead michonne as a way to keep the fans waiting for season 3 (atleast from what i theorized and head)

I think the unannounced game will be Batman season 3. Considering the fact that that’s the only IP they’ve actually retained the rights too other than the wolf among us. Let’s just be realistic here and not get our hopes to high to set ourselves up for disappointment.

Honestly I really hope that they will continue Clem's story. There is still so much to tell, and even without leg she will be badass, not to mention AJ who could be even better character as he gets older. For me it just dont feel right to say that they stopped in school and thats all. Ther must have happened something. The world clementine lives in is way too broken to give peace for someone like her and AJ.
yeah Clem's story didnt seem finished imo. Also I think AJ is WAY too young for it to end like that, we only officially knew him in season 4.

The Walking Dead Telltale Series, was as masterpiece when it was released. I am so excited for what Telltale Games has planned for us in the coming few years. it was so nostalgic hearing the backround music from the old game. i saw this video on my recommendations and i clicked on it so fast, its actually so crazy that season 5 could be happening, they kind of left us on a cliffhanger with clem, and im so interested to see what they're gonna do if season five gets full confirmation. one of my favourite youtubers, kubz scouts played TWD a few years back and it would be amazing if he played season five if it comes out, as well as coryxkenshin.

I'm also hopeful, Dom. We need the comics canceled and maybe just a closing-off for Clementine, like maybe 2 years since she has been at the school, AJ has grown a lot and helped a lot around the school, and Clem has a peg leg she calls Lee her relationship if players picked one is still going so strong and if they lived.
Maybe add a few new characters who now live at the school which is thriving since season 4, there is a lot that can happen, but the main aim is and should be to undo the comic.

It’s both exciting and terrifying, as the TWD series has had its ups and downs, ending with an up on season 4. This could go extremely well or terribly. I think season 5 could be consisted of a bunch of different side stories explained, each having their own episode. Maybe one of them could include clem as a fun hangout between her friends and maybe dig deeper into every character's past more deeply than in season 4.
I hope they do give ttwd another season where they have extended time to input everything from the pass seasons (Javier, elaborate on Christian and where she went, and possibility she could meet up with the people she saved in the passed seasons) and even have a mechanic where we can switch back and forth with AJ and Clem.
I got so excited when I saw the title but nothing's been confirmed yet, but I agree with your theory, skybound will definitely play a role into this

I doubt there’d be a season 5 because season 4 was called “The Final Season” and it would defeat the purpose by making another season. They could be making DLC to the final season like they did with the 100 days dlc for season 1 or the Michonne episodes.

You have no idea how fast I clicked the video when I saw the title, as much as I'm afraid of the series being ruined, I just want to see Clem again even as a side character. It'd still be nice to interact with and doing tasks for her as AJ, my mind lightens as I think of it.
Part of me wants more from clementines story because I feel like one more season could tie up so many loose ends, such as involving Christa or something somehow? I think if they make it to follow clementines story they should have her be more of a side character, primarily with the game following AJ. Her losing her leg sort of put a nail in any intensity that a game with her as the main character could have because she realistically prob cant even run. Make it sort of like a new frontier where we see whats going on with her but its mostly put aside by AJ’s story. Obviously only so many things can be involved realistically but tying everything together and giving an ending where nobody can say there should be a new twdg season is important. (Which would be hard wo killing off clementine)

Probably but tbh I kinda want us to move on to different characters. I felt like Clemson story and arc has already been developed and completed. Cause if they make another one with clem its not gonna be satisfying to anyone since she has no more arc to go through, but majority wise complaint would've been something along the lines of killing off clem or focus more on AJ and not clem. It's just gonna be a controversial mumbo jumbo that telltale could avoid. Her arcs finished , I say let her be in peace lol

Damn, I know this series was here until 2018 and I've just watched all seasons again including the final season which for some reason i didn't watch earlier. The game literally got me mentally scarred. I didn't feel that since tlou2 and it makes me want the sequel as much as it doesn't because how it ended it's all fine but no matter what I still want this series to never end if you know what I mean

I just finished the Marathon for the 6th time for not having played any TWD game for years, Greatest game ever created.. I’ve followed this channel for like 6 years and now these news appears 😮 I would want a S5 where you play as AJ and Clem switching between the 2.

How quickly a smile spread across my face when I saw Season 5 confirmed!! I grew up with all the characters from Season 1 till Season 4, it's really hard and emotional to just let them go 😩 But also this news just occurred few days before my birthday 🎂, pretty sure my birthday will go pretty nice!!

They had a perfect ending with Season 5 and I hope they don't mess up what they had, but I can't deny my love for Telltale's The Walking Dead. At my core I'm just glad they've recieved funding because they are one of my favorite developers.
