It's been now over 3 Years Since Telltale Games was revived by LCG Entertainment. In today's video I breakdown 2023 which will mark the official return of Telltale Games and what could be the next batch of Telltale games coming after The Wolf Among Us 2 and The Expanse A Telltale Series both release! Could we see "Batman Season 3" with a return of the old telltale batman cast? - Could we see a new playable character in a new telltale game, or The Walking Dead Game returning and getting a new season! Telltale Games after 3 years is finally ready with two planned games releasing in 2023! Anything is possible let me know your thoughts down below!
Bigby and Snow are returning to untangle more mysteries in the much-anticipated sequel to one of Telltale’s most beloved games, The Wolf Among Us. Award-winning voice actors Adam Harrington and Erin Yvette are back to breathe life into the main characters (Bigby and Snow). The lead writer, creative/game directors, and composer of the original game are back for another trip into the dark universe of Vertigo’s Fables graphic novels in The Wolf Among Us 2.

Just that S4 endings is a good stopping point for it, continue the story is possible is done well but there are also risk to mess things up, so it must be thoroughly thaught before being made
I'd like that too but then they should totally ignore the comics. Cause Clem's story after the boarding school will completely suck. She will abandon AJ and find a new group.. it doesn't fit her personality at all. So unless they make up a whole new storyline for her after this which has more affinity to the past episodes, I wouldn't want it to continue. Also it will make less sense for her story to continue since they named the 4th season 'The Final Season'. Final is final, would be weird for new players if it would still continue with a season 5.
Also with her missing a part of her leg... I don't know. Might not work out well if the protagonist is handicapped. The game overall couldn't consist of scenes where we have to be mobile and act fast, run, and the like. Maybe an older AJ would be a good alternative as the playable character. But anyway it's clear that Telltale never anticipated to get back in business and by limping Clementine and titling the season 'Final' they stabbed themselves in the foot. What a waste
All the 4 seasons of the walking dead made me cry at the end especially the first one when lee died. This company was and still is my childhood. I hope they make a new season of it or a new walking dead with different characters but the same universe or maybe a game where they tell the story of Kenny when he disappeared. Idk but I'm so happy y'all are back

I almost cried on Lee's death in season 1 too what a great game it was.
One moment in a TellTale game that I cried was in Minecraft Storymode season 1 when Ruben died it was so sad
TWAU2 and TWD has the potential to bring them a lot of money and put telltale games back in the game and i really do hope their comeback going to be better and stronger
personally i think TWD is finished and should remain at that point. the only way they could've made it better was to change their ways and let players have an actual choice, instead of choices that don't matter. also clem not losing her leg.
you'd need to find conflict for the group, who seemed to achieve peace in the end. which means more death and destruction and imo you wouldn't be able to play as clem, considering she has one leg. how could she run from walkers, fight back etc.. even if she had a prosthetic it wouldnt be good enough. you'd have to play as AJ.
BUT that being said i think telltale could do something entirely different and more interesting, aka a remake of the series but CHANGE parts of the stories. if lee never died, if carly wasnt shot etc. the internet would LOSE its shit if that happened (but obv it wouldnt happen..)
however they have great potential in TWAU2. they have a lot of potential with the story because they have all these fables and fairytales to make a truly great story out of. if they stay strong on the art style, improve details, actual choices that matter and make sure bigby stays a badass it'll be a great one

@@aaa-zz5tj TWD Franchise isn't really focused on Clem tho, it's a universe with sm characters and they could do multiple spin-offs on characters like Jesus, Rosita, Kenny and Javi
@@aaa-zz5tjhey have to patch the last episode of S4 for clem to still keep her leg, then upon that foundation you could continue with a season 5 but now different, now choices will actually matter.
After nearly 10 years, we’re finally getting wolf 2 this year (hopefully), and I have no doubt that telltale is going to put out an amazing game for how long it has been taking for it to release. Very excited for their return title.
I hope they won't have anymore delays.

Telltale games is one of, if not my favorite gaming company of all time. Minecraft story mode, Batman, TWD, and the list goes on
That intro gave me goosebumps. The memories that this company has gave me through the walking dead, I’m so glad they’re back. But we NEED a new Walking Dead game with a new set of characters!

They already ruined Chrysta and Kenny with unsalvageable bad writing and cut ideas… they need to let sleeping dogs lay and get more original ideas.

I almost shed a tear in the intro even though I have been a huge fan of Telltale games for a short time 😢 I just really hope they release their games on Steam too. That's the only platform I can buy the games and support them financially. The only thing I don't like is The Expanse's art style and graphics which doesn't give you the vibe of Telltale games, but at this point, I give literally every Telltale game a chance. We have to support them if we want more games. The Walking Dead has to return. It's too good to be left alone

We could have a season 5 which I would like it to have Clementine, we could have a Javi series, a mini series, a new series with new characters, etc. And about season 5, there's already a comic about Clementine that takes place after the final season. They continued the story so terrible that 99% of the community don't even consider it canon to the games and we don't even consider that being about Clementine! But what I'm saying is, if Skybound didn't even care about the title "the final season" and made the comics, then so can Telltale if they get back the rights to TWDG. I'm just saying it's possible.

I was 14 when the first season of The Walking Dead was released and at the time I did not have my own gaming device to play so I used to to watch a play through on CZcams and honestly the hold this game had over me was incredible. I have never connected so deeply with a story before and I was so invested. This game was a big part of my childhood and and I made so many friends online who had the same connection with this game. It was incredible. 10 years later and I now have my own Xbox and I’m currently playing this and it’s brought back so many fond memories and I get to experience that again. It really is amazing how much this meant to me growing up. I even dressed up as Clementine last year for Halloween. It really is a special game. A big well done to Telltale.❤

i just finished watching someone play through all of the walking dead series. every time i find something that has been gone for a while, whether it be a youtuber, a game or now even a company they always re-emerge a week later it’s crazy

I really want another Walking Dead game that centers around Kenny. Either his time before he meets back up with Clementine at the beginning of season 2, or (if you chose this ending) when he leaves Clementine and goes off on his own at (one of) the end of season 2

I spoke to a few of the voice actors over the years in two of my favorite games and I can see these are people who really cherish what they did, that they put so much into it. There has to be another season for TWD, another Season for Minecraft Story Mode (idc I want to see another MSM), Batman Season 3, and whatever else more. I can’t wait to see what Telltale got in store for us.
There's a possible chance that Clem's group can be introduced in the twd show since they're in the same universe, Clem has already met Jesus and Glenn so there's a pretty high chance that we'll be able to see Clem again since it'll be the perfect ending for the walking dead franchise.
Not the shows universe, the games are connected to the comics though.
Meanwhile the GOT game they did is connected to the show, instead of the books.
As the guy above me already said. They're not in the same universe as the show. However, just because she met two characters doesn't mean she'll be included in their installments. It's not a "pretty high chance" (if it would have even been a option).
I just hope we get another TWD from them because there's still a lot of story there

I’ve recently started reading the walking dead comics. Found volume 1 in a charity shop and after I read it just have to see more so I got 2, 3, 5 and 6. (4 is late in delivery so I’m waiting atm 😅) my head just cannot stop imagining story’s of this universe and what we might see as we play the other characters in the school, etc. I’m not gonna stop thinking about these universe stories until we get some news about it. Can’t help it, we love this world ❤️

its amazing how much of a comeback telltale is making with games like Sam & Max getting remastered and the wolf among us 2 even their own new game I can't wait to see what they have planned for the future

I think it all depends on the third book and what happens there, it will very likely be a deciding factor, they can even kill off Clementine in the book and make the game where we play as a more older AJ, many people, including me will hope that they don't go down this path, but it's a possibility, also they can definitely change their mind and say that the comic and the books are not canon or like some people have said, maybe turn them in some sort of a dream sequence, there are definitely a number of different ways they can go if they do continue the series, until then I hope that everyone's new year is going as good as possible, and please stay safe as much as possible

the walking dead (the game) always held a spot in my heart. it was unique and i could really connect to the characters. it is such a great game even with the weird looking graphics

I actually have a pitch for another TWD game. I call it The Walking Dead: Untold Tales. 3 Seasons long, each season from a different point of view.
In Season One, you play as Lee in the timeskip between the OG Season One's timeskip between Episode One and Two, showing the briefly touched upon events at the air base where the main survivor group met Mark.
Season Two would take place right after Christa last appears in the series, showing what happened to her after she and Clem saw eachother for the last time, with her dying at the end.
Season 3 would take place a few weeks after the OG Season Three and would show what Javi got up to after the whole Richmond thing.
So imagine if they made a spinoff but with Lee before the outbreak and a story leading up to when he killed the man sleeping with his wife as a expansion to Lee’s background

I kinda wanna see a remake or a retelling of TWD with still having the same story but with more choices that truly matters, cause parts of the story are set in stone and your choices don't really matter and the story continues on the same path. They could expand that idea with using similar games such as "Detroit Become Human", where in that game, your choices do matter and the outcomes are different. Using that concept in the TWD would be wild and would have players be immersed in the game with making choices that will impact the outcome with losing characters that originally lived or saving characters that originally died. Imagine the possibility of it happening.
I just hope they take more time with the games. Season 2 and especially 3 suffered a lot from that; even Wolf Among Us did.

I’m so excited for their return
I have forever loved Telltale and bought every single game they have released since day dot....TWAU2 is my most wanted game for 2023 and I will take time off work for it. The Expanse I will also get first day but it looks like it needs work. I'm really worried about the lack of information regarding both tbh and especially if The Expanse comes out and doesn't do great the impact it will have again going forward for the other games. I am just hoping so hard they nail it this year, that's all :)
I want more walking dead. Not continuing the current story but stuff I feel like we need more info on. There are plenty of things I'd like to see as a comic
- lily after she got left or sole the rv. What she said and how she met the raiders.
- The whole war thing in season 3 and 4. I can't tell you how bad I wanted that explained. Who was the raiders at war with? Who was the group that raided Wellington?
For y’all that haven’t watched the Expanse, it’s the greatest sci-fi show ever created. The game is a prequel to the show, and you’re playing as one of the best sci-fi characters of all time. If you’re into shows that have deep word-building you’re missing out

@@Gryphondork. oh yeah, I completely understand that. Telltale fans have been waiting for sequel forever
to add to that, what makes the expanse special compared to hundreds of other sci-fi shows, is that it takes real life physics into account, and overall tries to be very realistic.
non of that faster then light flying, or direct communications between people on different parts of the solar system.
It is also focused around our solar system instead of an interstellar travel, though in the show itself, certain alien tech shit happens that enables them to travel to other star systems, though it doesnt happen until later seasons and it's not really focused on much.
But the game itself, being a prequal to the show, will not have any of that and most likely will be focused on conflicts with MCR, UN and the belters.
I can’t wait for wolf 2 this year.

I remember when i got minecraft:story mode on ps3 for christmas in 2015 and played it finished it and 3 years later ive played all the walking dead but the final season has not came out yet i think and played season 2 of minecraft story mide

I would like to see A Walking dead game, maybe set in the 16 months that Clem was with Christa. I would also like to see the choices actually matter, Maybe two or three plots, Maybe decide what town you go to, and it changes the plot all together, the characters u meet, the things that happen. It would take more time but I think it would be more fun and give people a reason to play thru it several times, it would be like 2-3 games in one. Also the way that had the controls in Season 4 and the aiming and collectibles was far superior to the controls of the other seaons

I recently replayed Batman Season 2.
Even though I didn't care for Batman/Catwoman romance in season 1, in season 2 is so gard darn great!
Even though she is introduced first in episode 3, the possible ways to interact with her are so great!
I love the idea that you can reform Catwoman by believing in her and encouraging her to become good and even though I was in the minority in this choice, I chose Batman's last words to Selena in season 2 to be "I love you".
It's just so perfect to imagine Batman thinking he might die and then after a long build up between the two, open up and say "I love you" before passing out.
Needless to say, I would be looking greatly forward to season 3
I'm definitely waiting for the 3rd season imagine the collaboration between Batman Alfred and Tiffany though Alfred leaves Bruce after Batman choice I'm sure u could always get him back in Season 3 🥰❤

TWAU was my favorite thing to watch on CZcams younger,I would just re watch and re watch the playthrough waiting for a second part till I found out the company went bankrupt...when I found out that not only they were back in but bringing such an iconic game back ,I cried of joy it was the best birthday gift ever ❤️

I can’t wait for TWAU2, the Expanse looks promising. I’d be down for a Walking Dead season 5 where they either use Clementine and AJ, Javi’s side of things (since I enjoyed his character) OR they use completely new and different characters from a new point of view on their journeys whether it’s somewhere completely new, just somewhere in the TWD universe, which doesn’t need to link up with Clementine’s/AJ’s group.

I remember playing telltale walking dead season 1 and the wolf among us back in like 2014 but I never completed the series because I downloaded on AppStore and it was extortionately expensive but I started playing the entire walking dead series again like 2 months ago and just finished playing the final season with clem the other day and honestly I think it’s one of the best storylines to ever be made into a game and I look forward to playing the wolf among us 2 later this year hopefully the release all the episodes at once because playing 1 episode and then waiting another month for another episode is too nerve wrecking.

honestly, walking dead with clem was a journey, i honestly dont want it to reopen, it was an amazing chapter and i dont think it should be revisited, clem lost her leg and i think that was enough tbh, please close the door on her
I can’t believe I was 9 when the wolf among us came out and now I’m 19 I loved that game beyond belief I’m so excited the sequel is so close to being released
As long as Wolf 2 and expanse do well, then once the atrocious Clementine comics come out, I could definitely see skybound making a game from the comics (again that’s my prediction/thought). I have hope for TWD returning and maybe just a continuation after s4 or a dlc of Javier escaping from his big fortress because of the delta invading and his goal is to find Clementine. Otherwise, we’ll have to see.

If Telltales get the rights to the walking dead back then we need a spin-off with Javier. And the wolf among us 2, I hoping that we’ll find out that Nerissa is Faith because we deserve to know the answer of that question that we been asking for to long.
