100% Agree with the trigger frame size assessment. Sprinting corners or snake off the break was really uncomfortable. I grab my HK shocker instead as a 1st attacker. If the trigger frame was the same ergonomics as the 1.6 the LV2 would be the greatest marker of all time.
I love my lv2 and like your lv3 idea think that would be great. Like your reviews very detailed and accurate. As far as my lv2 the shoot is amazing and smooth.Traded my vcom ripper and the lv2 is so smooth great shooter.
I like it, i got big hands, its a big gun, it shoots great, i dont care much about the eye wires, or the screen. Its a poppet that will run with the high end spoolies. It shoots smooth and isnt as loud as an old timmy, or ego..imo
Really, there are no deal breakers on this marker. 100% shoots better than the older Timmies and egos. I don't really think it's a hand size issue, but purely an ergonomics issue. It feels they truly prioritized covering the frame rather than how the human hand holds it. For example, the odd slope below the trigger guard for no reason.
My gripe about it is for $1600 it shouldn't have all those wires inside. Feels like old tech. I get it has the cut outs in the frame but disconnecting all those wires from the board shouldn't be necessary in a $1600 marker. Great review though glad to see you upload!

I agree, it seems inappropriate given the premium, though I'm honestly not sure how I would have implemented it given the arrangement.
A perfect example of packaging constraints. If you'd like wireless connectivity then you'll need to concede the height of the overall package. A characteristic of of the LV has always been the minimal offset of the grip axis and barrel axis, which would need to increase to accommodate a standalone upper board.

I have medium-sized hands and my LV2 feels fine while shooting. As Tim mentioned, when holding the marker in non-shooting position, it may feel cumbersome, but in gameplay for me is not noticeable. The Geo4 has slightly better ergos in my opinion, but you should hold each (and ideally run a few points) before you decide. Can’t go wrong with either. I’ve not shot a Force, so cannot comment on that
Same I have medium glove size hands and I run an amp and lv2 and honestly I taped up the amp grip to be a bit thicker after using my lv a bit it looks bigger than it feels imo

Damn this makes me wish I would have picked a more popular colorway. Still waiting on mine. But i dont think they need to swap the battery and board to the front, the big issue is the 9v as apossed to the 2 AA in the cs1/geo 4 and cs2. Its not ablot of spaced saved but if they could move over to 2 AAs then the back grip could be slimmed down and the solinoid moved(hopefully maybe, but unlikely becauwe the airpaths would need to be redesigned) but thatbwould require a new solinoid design sonthatsbmore then likely out
No, not a chance haha. No plans of making that happen. The mech valve would be rather complicated, and it's just not necessary when they have the gamma platforms
Everyone says its a big gun i play snake with a 170r and i meassured the 170 and the lvs theyre bassically the same size the grip is an eigth inch biiger thats nothin and its 1.2 inches longer so people saying its big its actually not

I don't really understand why anyone would buy an LV anymore. years ago, the advantage of a poppet vs spool was the air efficiency, but now they've softened the shot of the LV line so it gets similar air efficiency to the gamma cores. The LV's are chonkier, heavier and have both the exposed bolt and the poppet assembly that you have to clean. I had a geo 2.1 and the advantage was that when I got shot in the gun... no matter where it was (trigger aside) I didn't have to take the gun apart. If you get shot in the bolt on your LV, you've got some cleaning on your hands. And if you're in a tournament, that can be stressful trying to get sorted in time. Are there other considerations that I'm missing? I'm not trying to be a hater, I just don't really see the value in this line of guns anymore.
There are 1000 different ways to shoot a paintball. The stacked tubed poppets are obviously an older method that has a lot of nostalgia for many players. That being considered, it's more impressive that these STPs are competitive to the current spools. They have taken a hit to efficiency to create these more and more refined markers. You have more tunability vs spools. They are typically far less complicated to run, more likely to run year round without issues with temps. I'm sure we'll start seeing breech sensing STPs which would further evolve the shot and performance of them. Like everything whether it's comparing a spool with a spool or spool vs poppet, it's preference. It's better to have options, not having STPs would be boring.
All I'm saying is look at the (2015) MacDev Cyborg 6... No wires,good reg placements and smaller grip frame. That's all I'm saying. Eclipse what happened though? Lmao

Probably not, as it never achieved the initial intent. If I had another LV2 I would take a different direction with it and would do so.

Hey, I think both are great options. The Geo4 is probably a hair bigger than the force in terms of grip, but objectively the geo 4 is better
