So, we're ignoring the 120Hz display feature in the Zenbook. Although I would still say that Macbook is a overall value if you don't care about the memory and storage, bit it feels like you're a bit biased towards apple.

Im a vid editor and a gfx designer, previously i had a i712800k + 2080 + 48gb , recently bought a m3 pro 36 gb, and I guarantee mac performs better even in some games, trust me

@@141290KAPIL that’s true, and my editing process takes no more than 16 gb my only reason to get a 36 gb is for future proofing , or i’ll get a 18 gb version, but if you’re planning to get a m3 pro and you’re not gonna edit 8k or use 4k after effects editing you can blindly go for m3 pro 18gb that’s enough, mine seems overkill in most ways, and for windows you can go with book4 ultra by samsung thats a great machine, but if you want more performance and you’re gonna travel a lot get
using an Macbook pro 2012 still holding up amazingly well, i was previously a windows user, used a ultrabook not a gamer, but damn 2012 still holding up amazingly well in 2024, people might tell me biased but i have used both, and apple holds the value for so long, i cant say that for windows.

Bhai how's the performance compared in video editing softwares like Davinci as I'm planning to get a laptop but I'm concerned about apple's only 8gb ram and 256 gb ssb where as windows give 16 gb and higher storage options. My main use is editing but i don't want to upgrade in apple as it's really expensive. So what would you suggest, should i get 8 256 in mac or 16 512gb in windows like this one?

having used both...this was defininetely biased towards apple. try running heavy softwares doing multitasking on both and see the mac lagging with just 8gb of ram, no optimization will make it better. macos already uses more than 5 gb of ram in those 8 gb

Better buy the M1 Air with 16gb ram, and for Air series, even Hard disk speed is compromised in base variant, if you need to use your laptop for longer period, buy 16gb + 512gb variant of any mac

Bhai for almost all the work, the Mac will give you consistent and better performance. From the animations to the overall system stability. As you mentioned you’ll play games occasionally I think Mac will be a better option.

Zenbook too can do most of your coding tasks. Once you start earning, buy the mac. At the learning stage, go with windows. Most of your teachers will have windows only.

Initially it's tough, but day 2 you will throw away any external mouse if you plan to use, day 3 you will forget to use any external speakers or headphones unless AirPods, day 4 you will be moving around with it and put it to charging only when you are going to bed-smart charging feature, day 5 try using windows OS and then place your comment here.. waiting for it
