  • A short review of the M3 OBD2 Head Up Display HUD device with a built in Speed Limit Alarm feature and more. This Head Up Display is a very affordable OBD2 Plug and Play device and can be installed on most OBD2 vehicles but not alll. It will also read and display the Battery Voltage of your vehicle and the Temperature. It supports both KPH and MPH and is easily changed in the settings options of the device.

    Agreed the instructions could be better, I really like this one its very basic which is what I wanted. I like how its pretty much just the speed I'm going, I don't want distractions. Still struggling to figure out how to adjust the speed as the higher I go the more off it gets usually around 5 to 10 km. Pretty accurate till I go 40km or higher. Great Video thanks for making it.

      Thank you I appreciate that. Thats interesting to hear how the speed reading is incorrect as your speed is increased, what year and model car do you have it installed on?

      @@SHORTwithTECH A 2024 Mazda 3 Sedan, been rereading the instructions I think I might have figured out how to adjust it. Will try it out next time I go for a drive. I think I either need to either Press M and go to Speed that or hold M and go to 1 to adjust the speed.

    • @SHORTwithTECH
      @SHORTwithTECH  Před 5 měsíci +2

      @primezero6727 yeh, try this:
      1. Press and Hold the M Button to enter the Settings menu
      2. You need the first setting, which is Option 1, so you should see parameter 107 displayed now (in Kmh mode)
      3. Now adjust the speed accuracy. e.g if Speedo displays 100Kmh but HUD displays 105Kmh then by default the algorithm should be 105-2=103 so simply change it to what you need.
      4. Press and Hold the M Button to Save your changes and Exit
      Hope that helps you, if not then come back and we will try again, all the best

      Yes and No. You can't physically turn the overspeed alarm feature off, but you have two options to get around that problem. Your Gateway will not burn out, the OBD2 Port is just a communication port. If this concerns you there is always a GPS HUD which doesn't connect to your car at all and works just aswell but with limited functionality compared to OBD2 of course, for example, like this one czcams.com/video/AOfrtXDzQQA/video.htmlsi=CKTHDs4_ddCbQSUR
