The games are well stewarded and there’s usually a good police presence at matches, in the stadium the fans are also segregated from each other. Unlike the increasingly lawless 70s and 80s supporter violence is now fairly rare at England football matches these days. If there are supporters gangs out for a fight they usually meet up well away from the ground (and away from police eyes).

Saying "Poor Jimmy Saville" is a bit like saying "Poor Jeffrey Epstein". That and disrespecting the goalkeeper, especially at a lower (non-league) level, is normal/harmless and the players know to expect it. They do often get clapped by the opposition fans at the end though; it's usually harmless comments. Non-League Football is amazing if you're into the sport.

So a few pointers about what you just saw:
-Adam Johnson played for Sunderland when he was arrested for sexual activity with a 15 year old girl (the age of consent here is 16) and was sentenced to 6 years in prison however was released on license in 2019.
-Jimmy Saville was a famous radio DJ and TV presenter and a year after he died, loads of allegations came about him abusing countless women over the years. The man deserves no sympathy.
-Sky TV is like our main satellite TV broadcaster who used to broadcast like all the premier league games. However, they are notoriously expensive and if you try to cancel your subscription, they harras you with countless deals before you leave.
-The steward you saw only looked like Boris Johnson, wasn't actually him and if you hear chants about him it's usually a joke. Most people in Britain absolutely hate him.
-When you hear the word Fergie in football, that's in reference to mainly two people. Alex Ferguson, ex manager of Manchester United and arguably the most successful football manager of all time and his son Darren, who currently manages league one team Peterborough United.
    Loved your reaction though.

'We're going on a League 1 tour' refers to the league the team is in. They then chant about going down then straight back up, so presumably the team has just been relegated to League 1 and they expect to go back up to Championship at the end of the season after their tour of the, implied, lesser League 1 venues.

13:28 English football consists of several divisions. The top tier is the Premier League division followed by The Championship division and then League One division. The supporters singing were confident that their team which were relegated from The Championship into League One, will be just in L1 for a season and they’ll be promoted back into The Championship the following season.

This was legit tame asf 😂 on a side note the whole point of the chants is to make it hostile for the opposition and make it a hard place to play also the crowd vs crowd chants are home fans vs away fans. Fans don’t sit together to stop trouble it’s prohibited and you can get banned if you get caught sitting in the wrong end so it’s segregated. The plant pot thing, the game was prob crap so the fans were making their own entertainment.

There's a difference between UK/European crowds and US crowds. UK/EU crowds are split into home and away sections. Home fans will usually take up around 3/4 of the stadium while the away fans typically are put in the cheap seats in one corner of the stadium. And rivalries are a lot different over here, they're a lot more intense than US in any sport and home and away fans are usually separated by lines of police both inside and outside the stadium so fights don't start between rival fans
