It's a shame Best got injured. Stafford had the most electric RB, and the best WR Calvin in the league. That was their best shot to contend. I was hoping Ameer Abdullah could fill Best's shoes but it never happened.
This guy could've had a LOT of highlight film. Such a shame that his career ended so soon. Stafford really deserved a 1000 yard rusher too. In 2011 we had a real defense, but Best only played in 6 games.

I remember we was undefeated before he had that concussion he had explosive runs to help us win games if he would of stay healthy and didn't get that head injury we would be very dangerous team to beat that year and get good playoff spot sadly his career came to an end the lions of today we dont have a back that can make good plays like Jahvid Best did. Wish we can get a back that can make big plays on their running game take loads off of stafford

Put it this way, MMA fighters take way more brutal concussions than NFL players. MMA fighters don't wear helmets. Yet you only have to be asymptomatic from a concussion for four weeks to get cleared to fight in the UFC. Javhid Best has been asymptomatic for almost TWO YEARS now.
