I got my legendaries twice in a row for first time getting to this high. Genesect and tapu fini. Would have liked a Landorus if I reached it in time.

My favorite GBL legendary encounter was my shiny Yveltal! Finally got my bacon bird 🥩
I’ve gotten so many good Pokémon from the GBL since I can’t do raids that often, I don’t live near a bunch of raids. So, I took it upon myself to work hard for my legends. And ever since maybe one or two seasons ago, here’s what I got, they’re not in order btw:
Hundo Male Frillish, Giritina, Tapu Lele, Nihilego, Zekrom, and Two Registeel, Lugia, 2 Tapu Bulu, Latios during the Hoenn Tour (still GBL), Landorus.
Here are my World Tour legends:
Johto:
Suicune(wild)
Shiny Suicune(snapshot task)

Latias(Snapshot Task)

@@EyeSack.9000 one way I got into pogo battle league is with the special events they host where you can only use certain Pokémon (which usually match the theme of a current event going on in pogo) it’s a cool way to get a head start! Fortunately for me when I first started pvp there was a 500 league cup and it was sooooo easy for beginners!
Dang. I’ve gotten 8 Landorus, 3 giratinas, 2 zacian, 1 zamazenta, and 0 hundís or shinys.
And I do have a Galarian zapdos, which was super cool to get after like 2 months of daily incense grinding. First spin on the Pokeball too.

As someone who lives in a rural area, I’ve done this to get many of my legendaries such as, Giritina, Latios, TWO Registeel, Zekrom, Tapu Lele, and my most recent, Lugia. I also got Nihilego, which isn’t a legendary, but still cool, as well as a hundo male Frillish. Those are in no specific order btw. So, to all you laid back trainers who can’t access raids, it is very possible if you work hard enough for it and never stop fighting!
Also, I don’t know if it’s just with me or something, but in the first set of battles once a new legendary comes out, that fist encounter you get, should be guaranteed that legendary, but if you don’t reach the encounter on the first set, that when you actually have to work hard.

I think the easiest way is to host a legendary raid using a free raid pass. The GBL is not really consistent anymore for legendaries, unfortunately.

I miss being able to get legendary pokemon from finishing the research breakthroughs as these helped me and many others who had a small amount of friends that played pokemon go.

its so hard to find a group to raid with tho, especially in cities that are less pogo busy
@@HazeInutt you can always invite some people. In my experience most legendaries can be taken down fairly easy with just 4-5 trainers.

That’s why I got shiny Lugia 3 days ago. Makes sense now. I was like woah! Did 37 raids and no shiny just to get it in the battle league little cup.
I did a raid for Ho oh and didn’t end up catching him upset I put on Daily in-sense and started walking and the very first spawn was Galatians Moltres and I caught him first throw 😊
Typically if you don’t catch them on first throw they run away anyways

Omg same! I got 5 zamazentas and 2 zacians that season. I believe that was the last season before they nerfed the encounter rates for GBL but it was crazyyy

We did not get legendary birds after the regidrago raid. They just did a timed research this time. Guess it’s because last time was bugged for people and they couldn’t get the encounters to happen so this is the alternative

When I started playing Pokemon Go I encountered Galarian Zapdos and Articuno on my daily incense. Unfortunately, I was on a bus and they ran away after one try. I still think about them every once in a while

Note: The battle league would only give you the legendary pokemon that is currently in raids commonly
"gbl is the easiest way to get legendaries." Also him 3 seconds later "it's about a 4% chance per encounter".
You get an encounter every 5 battles. IF and only IF you win 3. Each battle is about 2 and a half minutes. There is a maximum of 20 battles per day. Unless you level up beyond 20 which requires many hours AND a meta relevant team. You get a MAXIMUM of about 15% percent chance of a legendary every day.

It used to be so common getting legendaries in GBL... then everyone complained about how long they took to catch. That sure backfired 😅😢

I’ve actually managed to get most of my legendaries from GBL, especially back when i had no powerful pokémon no one wanted me in raids so i got them myself.
Also people who’s gotten their omega/alpha orbs would find Latios(if they chose omega if I recall)or Latias (if they choose alpha if I recall) in the wild

Getting "Lucky" with random ecounters in the GBL also HEAVILY depends on how popular the Legendaries are (You can get your Xerneas on your 6/7 enouncter, but you can easily get 25 encounters before you get a Kyogre / Entei etc.)

I got a full iv ho-oh in the GBL without having to battle in a raid
The lake trio can spawn in the wild during events the beasts could be in the wild and latios and latias could be in the wild
I got shiny Thunderus last week. Then, this week, Lugia and Shiny Lugia back-to-back. Saves me from having to raid so much.
There is also three codes for regirock, regice, and registeel. They give you a research that you have to complete in 7 days or less.
oh so thats why i found galarian articuno in the wild today, i couldnt catch it but it was pretty cool

GBL is so awesome. I got two shiny legendaries ( Landorus and Giratina) and Three Hundos ( Landorus, Palkia, and Yvetal) from GBL.
You can also defeat Team Rocket Go Bosses for (at least for me) Certain Regis. I personally got Regice
I have never found a galar bird, they say that it is hard to catch but for some players it is impossible because he doesn't even appear.
I actually encountered the Galarian arcticuno on my daily insence run once! I was sadly unable to get it because it ran away 😭

It's 100% worth it if you're ftp but still want to dex legendaries, I personally was able to get a hundo Mewtwo, a shiny Mewtwo, a shiny Zekrom, and more than half of my current legendary collection is from gbl

After a bunch of encounters with all the Galar birds on my main account all yielding no catches, I managed to recover my 2016 account and got a decent Zapdos on my first encounter

I’ve been VERY unlucky in GBL, and the only thing decent I ever got was a dragonair. Top that up with my dislike for Ultra and Master Leagues (i only really like Great League) it gives me little reason to play GBL unless it’s Great League season

There is one more you can get a free daily raid pass but you have to walk to the raid I hope this also helps.
