- I have played next to a lot of great lead players in my day but none who could swing and phrase like Snooky Young like he did on this show. It was a real thrill ! Doesn't get any better than to be on stage with Frank and Snooky !
- Krátké a kreslené filmy
I love how Frank took a tune and made it totally his own. Rest in peace Francis we love and miss you. 🩷❤️🩷❤️🩷

@@glennzottola I share his birthday, but I write and record my own tunes. Still, Sinatra has been a huge influence on me. Thanks and take care!

Il più grande che la storia ricorderà....ciao Frank
This is truly terrific. Michael Landon too! LOL. Thank-you for sharing.
My favourite version of this great ballad can be found on the old UK LP "The Rare Sinatra". A marvellous
romantic interpretation that builds into something that never dates.
No habrá ANOTHER like him
The One & Only!
Wow great story he was so special. I couldn’t believe his concept as a lead player on those Nelson Riddle it felt like a jazz quintet !!!!
Mr. Zottola......I love this song and your orchestra. I love Frank Sinatra too so I am so glad I found this one again. Thank you, and have a nice weekend. Nice of you to share this one with us...Betsy Basile

what a great cat, snooky. i played in leslie drayton's band with snooky. the band and leslie gave me the cold shoulder 'cause i was from new york. i played a solo. only snooky made sure to compliment me. wow! what an honor. later we talked about pipe tobacco blends. wonderful memory.
Great Story Snooky was amazing playing lead on those Nelson Riddle charts he made them feel like a jazz quintet 😇

What year was this?
maybe around 1986 ? Frank just got out of the hospital from heart surgery amazing !!
Mr. Zottola, this is the first time I saw this one and it is great with Frank. I often listen to the one you did with Barry Manilow and Suzanne Somers and commented. Thanks for this one..Betsy B.
Thank you Yes as even Barry would tell you Frank was one of kind an icon the Chairman of the Board as they called him.
He was neighbors and friends with Suzanne in Palm Springs she would go over his house and he gave her tips.
👏👏👏🌹🌹🌹
the best with dean
Were you with the band, Glenn?
yes i was partners with Bobby Rosengarden we had a music production company together and we flew in from NY to do the show. Bobby asked Doc Severinson and he loaned us the entire tonight show band. A great night for sure !
@@glennzottola The Tonight Show band was a stellar group. Doc Severinsen had almost too much talent.
Thank you for posting.
Yes I was Bobby Rosengarden flew from NY to LA for the show. Bobby called Doc Severinson and he loaned us the whole Tonight Show band !
Yes for sure sitting next to the great Snooky Young who was playing lead trumpet.
I see Rick Baptist back there.
Yes Chuck. I was sitting next to Snooky Young he played the lead on the Sinatra charts Rick played some lead on some other acks.
Play so Sara. & Mucy Garland
When she walks she's like a samba that
Swings so cool and sways so gently
That when she passes, each one she passes goes "ah!"
Look what a beautiful thing, full of grace
She is the girl who comes and goes
In a sweet swing on the way to the sea
Girl with the golden body of the Ipanema sun
Her swing is more than a poem
It's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen happen but see doesn’t se me…😢💔❤️🩹🧡🧡🧡
It amazing how that beautiful gentle music changed the entire music scene in 1964 during very turbulent times Viet Nam and Civil Rights. I am trying to do my best to help that happen again check out my "Summer Samba" album on You Tube but unfortunately it is a different time 😇
If you want to learn how to speak the English language, get a Sinatra album and listen to it.

Still in strong voice here
Absolutely at the level you never lose it or all of it 😇
I find that as vocal abilities fade , singers cheat a little by skirting the very high or low notes ( either using falsetto or relying on backups), hold the mic farther away, shorten the notes and heaven forbid, rely on autotuneor some AI substitute. 😖🎛️
He always wishes he was as cool as Deano ..
Отвратительный звук,просто ничего не слышно
what year was this ?
I think around 1988
@@glennzottola That sounds right because I would be surprised if he was that lively in the early ninety's
He just got of the hospital from heart surgery !!
@@glennzottola you must be referring to the Nov 1986 operation to remove a 12-inch section of his large intestine...there is no record of him ever having heart surgery
possibly I was told heart surgery but you are probably right and seem to know.
