- Terrence Power who is one half of the Talking Bollox Podcast where two lads sit around and do what they do best and 'Talk Bollox'
This time with us Terrence is on the other side of the table being interviewed about his early childhood growing up in the flats of North Inner City Dublin.
The loss of his father, hunger, poverty and addiction. He tells how he is coping through recovery now and how he got away from that life of addiction.

Really impressed with the step in by Timmy towards the end. Just shows how attuned J&T are. I hope Terence (& others) listened & took the advice on board.
We all love you Terence ❤ we are super proud of you ♥️
I remember living with my Aunt for six months and know now that it was there I realized what a "normal" home should be..Not the misery I live in at home
I'm glad Terence said he's holding resentments towards school, of course they noticed things were rough for you Terence, they just didn't want to have to do anything sending you blessings Terence, ❤
Brilliant podcast, the way it went towards the end, that was an insight into how it all works, the impression I got was you both saw a red flag, and Terrance put his hand up for that, Im guessing you had a good chat after that podcast, well done lads.
Heart breaking story , some of which relates to me and timmy your 100% some rock bottom is a grave , my younger brother is 2 years friday to hitting his rock bottom and miss him everyday, well done to you both for spotting the red flag , 2 top men and i pray terrance becomes stronger through his recovery

No schooling .my son left at home for 5 years thank God he got a place only 2 weeks ago ,there all just forgotten and then problems start at teenage age years and it can be too late . There no help Ur banging Ur head of a brick wall for help and a lot of kids a left and forgotten. No supports no sna no school left on waiting list so u have to go privet it's a nightmare .and kids are lost to the system fault and then start doing this and are in trouble then and go down the wrong road .we're was the help . Sadly I never saw a single flower a single daffodil in these flats despite all the green spaces. Passed through them for 30 years.Only for the boxing club there was no hopes. I blame DCC for running these flat complexes into the ground until they were six feet under. Sad to see these buildings earmarked for demolition.
very open lad show me your friends and i will show you your future
Drink champs pod
Drink Champs is the name of that podcast
The podcast where he interviewed his mother?
That podcast was Talkin Bollix
@@thetwonorriespodcast Thanks. I'll try to find it. Brian O'Nuanain here, from Fair Hill, and I mailed ye a letter a few weeks ago about my job in Louisiana, working with helping juveniles avoid jail. I didn't have a mailing address, but I figured ye were so famous that it would get to ye with an incomplete address. Did ye get the letter?
@@thetwonorriespodcast the one where you were talking about the African American lads on the podcast that's called Drink Champs man
Please stop with the "working class stuff" were all Irish. It's British politics to constantly identify with class. I'm Irish and proud regardless of class
If you don't think there is a class system in Ireland you're delusional.
You definitely had everything handed to you 😂
I'm a constriction worker. And not a communist. Class politics is for losers
@@Cybernetic800 I would argue that addiction does not have a class
@@patrickglennon7058 You’re more than likely to become an addict from a deprived area and poor family, than coming from a rich family with a cosy upbringing. - also to think paying for rehab, counselling, drugs etc etc the bottom of the class system suffer the most.
