- Do you love lemonade? How about lemonade shake-ups? My 5-minute recipe is fast, easy to make and tastes great! Only 3 ingredients and you'll have a sweet and slightly tart, fresh tasting lemonade!
To make Simple Syrup: start with a 2-cup measuring cup, add 1 cup sugar. Top with water to make 2 cups. Microwave 2 minutes, stir; microwave 1 minute, stir. Caution: extremely HOT

I've never liked lemonade. My brother's girlfriend randomly gifted my mother 7 8oz bottles of lemon juice concentrate. Wasn't sure what to do with them so mama asked me to make lemonade. Your tutorial was the first that popped up and....

I really appreciate this recipe because my husband enjoys having an option instead of the usual iced tea. The only things I do differently are add a splash of lime juice & use raw sugar.

You call that 'lemon juice concentrate', but it is natural strength lemon juice which has been reconstituted FROM concentrate.
Still, seems like a recipe I should try. Thanks.
Microwave lemon slice and water for about three minutes. After the mixture cools down add sugar and refrigerate. The heat brings out the lemon flavor.
Interesting suggestion but the sugar will dissolve completely with my method. Otherwise, the the sugar will still be slightly granular. A lemon “slice” will be lightly lemon flavored water.

just made a double batch its great! one ? is there a need to keep it in the fridge will g..o thru this in about 3 days.Put in half cup everclear for a good hard lemonade.!!

Does it taste bitter sweet or the sourness is removed?
You’ll have to try it to determine that since what I like may not be what you like. To me, my recipe tastes like a lemonade shake up at a fair. Part sweet and part tart.
Your recipe says: "To make "simple syrup", in a microwave safe measuring cup, add 1 cup water, then 1 cup water; stir. " I am sure you meant 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water, right!?
Good catch! I corrected my written recipe. Simple syrup: Using a 2-cup measuring cup, add 1cup sugar and fill with water up to the 2-cup line. Thank you. 🙂
@@ThriftyRecipes I was drinking Hawaiian Fruit Punch, made from the 10 pack of little packets. The store I generally shop at stopped carrying it and it became a hassle to go out of my way to buy it. That's when I found your recipe and this is my go-to drink for after work to re-hydrate now and I love it. Sometimes I add strawberries, mashed in the blender and strained to it. I made so much, using leftover milk gallon containers, that I forgot the recipe (as easy as it is) so I just refer back to this video. Thanks so much for making my life a little easier and better with this video!
