@@giannisprotopappas3431 ESP intervens to engine power and brakes during dynamic driving when car goes into a skid (understeer, overster), it also cuts engine power when there is slippage during start. Anyway, I don't understand how in my 2018 Duster (1.5 diesel) the EDL works fine in AUTO mode, while in your test it seems not to work. In AUTO mode (WITH ESP ON) I can feel the rear brake on the free wheel that clamps many times. Maybe in your test the condition are "desperate" and small clampings in AUTO mode are not enough to push the car out.
    The test is very clear...
I wonder if it can be upgraded in the older Duster with a new firmware.

But I don't really understand why the car remains n the rollers in your test. If you can repeat the test you can hear the rear brake closing and opening many times in AUTO mode too!

Luca Tomasello How can you hear that it is rear brake, not front one? ;) I was also surprised that car passed three roller test ( only one front wheel with grip) in AUTO mode and failed in LOCK mode. My only guess is that in LOCK mode systems allows for much more wheel spin (like e.g in Suzuki), what is necessary in many offroad conditions.

@napraznicul Where did you get the info about 20%? Indeed these systems are the same from mechanical point of view, software is different.

napraznicul You are writing tens of such comments under different movies, always without any back-up or arguments. Show me the source of that 20% etc.

@@4x4.tests.on.rollersarguments? Watch your video carefully then you'see difference between how torque came when is sent to front and to rear. Then ..if really want to know "my backup", go with these cars on mustang dyno awd with a qualified person for work with that dyno. You'll see there with proper test settings.. if you really want to know, not only to make money with help of absolutely non-technical viewers who doesn't have knowledge not even only theoretical..as you :))).
They like to see some results of test and you.. make content as they like :)).. the same way as the dyno testers who ask owner of car.." how much bhp your car have?", then guess what? -measurement result is little bit over that amount of bhp and everybody is pleased :)))

napraznicul Again the same. You are trying to be smarter than everybody, but it looks like you don't even know what torque is. And no back up of course, no sources. How can you see the torque in the video?

@@4x4.tests.on.rollers are you kidding or you're really like ..seems? Torque isn't only the force who push the conrod in combustion engine, torque is also ANY force who move transmission and sent to the wheels.
I don't know why ..you look to me like a kid who after reading a few promo papers from some automotive producers, decided it's time to make money on youtube via auto domain :)))
I do not write wery well in english, but if you were a romanian language speaker, probably i would put a huge shame on you in a direct discussion.. as from a "specialist" (as you try to look like) and an average man who DID modified (hardware only) himself a lot of cars starting from 2004 :))) But you got a lot of noise in the mouth to keep your "specialist image" clean here, because otherwise the subscribers will be gone, youtube money- gone.. then you'll have to Work for living :))))
