Keep in mind this is a LIVE performance. Studio bands wish they could sound this good. 🔥
Miss Brian...RIP
Proof positive that the best music isn't always the most popular. OMG what a powerful group of musicians!
THIS IS WHAT PEAK PERFORMANCE LOOKS LIKE. EVERYTHING IS FIRING IN ALL CYLINDERS. EVERY SINGLE MEMBER OF THE BAND, THE LIGHT CREW, THE VIDEO CREW, THE VIDEO EDITOR, THE LIVE SOUND ENGINEERS. TRUE 100%.
@Ash Ravens: You understand the deal here! ;-) I’m a long time musician who plays bass guitar,4,5,6 String & fretless bass which is a totally different beast sound wise & feel + acoustic bass is badass. I really like how bassist Steve Harris of “Iron Maiden” uses acoustic bass on a certain amount of songs but not overkill. Lead 🎤 singer & lead/rhythm guitarist Ian Thornley of this band is an absolutely amazing singer & guitarist! Ian Thornley reminds me of a Canadian version of Chris Cornel of “Soundgarden” ~ “Temple Of The Dog” & “Audioslave”.
I seen them last week and they were every bit as good now! One of the greatest bands ever! WORD
The nod to Kashmir at the end......awesome
This rendition gets as close to perfection as they come.
Agreed. All of these from the 2015 Suhr factory party are freaking phenomenal.
4:59 when Brian starts the background vocal, then Paulo comes in with the harmony, and then Ian with the chorus.. So incredibly good.
Just watched this again today and it was the first thing I thought to comment on only to be beaten by 3 hours 😉That live just makes the hair stand up for me. Great call.
How in the world are these guys not blowing up everywhere!?!? This band is so ridiculously great and way underrated!!
the vast majority is so dumbed down and makes no effort to seek out this kind of music. this is excellent
When i grow up i want to be big wreck
I think I have an addiction. I must’ve watched this vid about 50 times, it’s so damn good. 🤟🏼
That is a masterpiece 👏
WHY THE FRACK IS BIG WRECK SO RIDICULOUSLY UNDERRATED??!!!!!
I'd say it's because they are completely true to their music and don't make the compromises required for mainstream success. And I'm glad that's the way they are.
These guys deserve better. They should be bigger than they are.
You are so goddamn right.
+HouseofChains81 they deserve a better drummer...but I'm glad they're flying under the radar
I've seen them live 4 times and their drummer seems solid. Why are you glad they are flying under that radar? I'm just curious.
+HouseofChains81 Been listening to these guys since '99. I agree 100% with you. Authentic, genuine and there is no other band out there that sounds and plays like they do. The vocals and music is so original. It's a damn shame they don't have a huge following.
They are great but the guy sounds way to much like Cornell. In fact it's not just his voice color but the way he sings and phrases too. Way too much like Cornell. I'm a huge fan of Cornell/Soundgarden but also a huge Suhr guitars fan and when I heard them randomly here on this Suhr party while listening and reading a book, I was tricked and thought Chris was a guest on some band... It's a pleasure listening to them though and I will give them more attention..
Listened to this song at least 2000 times this week
oh....my....god..... How have I never heard this before!!!!!!!!!! AMAZING!!! Like Eye opening!!!!!!
Please tell me you listened to their other stuff after this
@@cameronreyno7175 it looks like they're still in a Big Wreck rabbit hole 🤘
5:37 That right there is pure talent, effortless power in Ian's voice.Sounds like a freight train burning down the track with no end in sight
WOW!!!!! Just so friggin good. Big Wreck has been one of my fave bands for YEARS. Unreal performance here, amazing song.
Studio work does not do their shows justice at all. Just one of those bands that crush live and can't be truly captured in a studio recording. Phenomenal shows.
Could easily be the biggest band in North America!
The little Kashmir snippet at the very end... so good.
2:45 chills and goosebumps set in
How come I've never heard of this band? Immense
Best bend out of canada
That Kashmir lick at the end.... oooooo
I like the fact they're not mainstream. The best music is hidden away from pop culture. It's there for those to find if you look in the right places. It's reserved for people with taste. Big Wreck are one truly amazing band who make incredible music.
Thanks. I shall do just that!
Excellent remark!
it was Alex lifeson or rush that turned me on to big wreck and Thornley
what a great guitar player
u tube
BIG DIRTY BAND
Spot on!
I just hope they're making a good enough living to not struggle.
How can Ian Thornley just keep singing like he does... So much power and volume... Most singer would crap out after a few songs.
You can see in his face that this is effortless. He's not screaming he's not putting power behind it he's singing. I would love to see him actually put some serious power behind it... they'd have to bring his mic down a few db I'm certain ;)
Did I already mention that Big Wreck is my new favorite band? Well it is:-)
The more this gets played live, the more tighter it gets, the sound, back up vocals & of course the man Ian. Love the little Led Zep ending. Well done guys
God Damm tight fruckin band !
The album track is good, but man this is way better! Damn they are tight.
The bassist is great!!!!
Their bassist is much like the band itself, painfully underrated lmao. He is so fucking good, carries this song and ghost
Flawless perfomance.
Damn~Just give us that real music!!! Ecstacy to the Ears!
Dang... this live version is better than most any studio version of any song out there. I can't stop listening to this one song, and I thought "Inhale" was good, but this one, it's great. Awesome musicians... three guitars, one bass guitar, and a drummer... that's heavy-duty synchronized power.
Love it. These guys get better with age.
+Paul Anstey More melodic compared to before, although The Oaf and Albatross and Wolves were already very melodic to begin with.
I’m telling you, when those bomb triplets hit it nearly took my breath the first time. This is next level skill.
God damn....
dayum Paulo Neta with the amazing backups
those voices though. omg. the songwriting. omg.
Another great song!Sure would love to have this on Blu Ray.......Suhr?
What a voice he's got Chris Cornell must have loved it, the this reverse neck Suhr !!!!!!!!
The bassist is so soo good!!
Put the headphones on. Oh my!
Who TF would give this a thumbs down? I don't get it!!
Few songs keep my attention longer than 3 minutes and they could have gone another 10 with this one and I would have played it again...and again!

Wow A friend sent me a link to these guys today. I've listened to a bunch of songs so far. Usually I'm into Progressive metal bands but I really like these guys. Very original sound , great musicianship. So fresh to hear a band that dares to do their own thing and not follow the mainstream crap formula .
love big wreck, they deserve better, what a great band
SO SO GOOD [insert face melting emoji]!!!❤
Love this song.. This band should be bigger than what they are. I've listened to their music for years now and I've not been disappointed once.

+Amanda Montanez my only disappointments in them...not coming closer to California to perform, and not making more albums with such awesome music.
my first guitar lessson was the day after i seen big wreck ! i was braggin em up the instructor looks at me and says THATS THE CANADIAN ANSWER TO CRHIS CORNEL ! I AREE !
So MASSIVE!!
So great - as good as ANY LZ track recorded. Beautiful SUHR guitars!
Kick-ass!!
Incredible talent! Next time someone says “ I’ve never heard of them” They’re getting major eye rolls .. ✊🏼
It doesn't get much better than that.
how is this so perfect???????
I know right? Every single bloody time I hear this it lifts my spirits somehow and send chills throughout my entire body. Beautiful.
What a band!!!
Sooooo good. Amazing talent!!
Unbelievable!
So freaking good.
the drums!!!
I'm stuck with today!
Open letter to Big Wreck :
Dear Big Wreck,
Please fire your producers. Your brilliance gets lost with them. Your music is 100x better live. So good unfiltered/produced.
Signed - A fan (A huge fan of the live)
Ian is the producer....
Have you heard their latest!??

convert2mp3.net/en/index.php
Probably better than the studio version
cause this is it!
Nice little Led Zep kick at the end.
I see you at the end, Ian.
It's as if a chainsaw wrote a blues tune
Lmao
I think all the women in that room just got pregnant! Wow! Hell...I think I'm pregnant!
I’m real close if ya need me ya feel me 🤟😘🤙
Chris Cornell… Is that you.?
I don't usually compare musicians, but when I do I hear Chris Cornell in Ian's voice.
