The perfect bridge of funk, pop, electronica and disco... what a vibe, what a sound! DEFINITELY underrated! Can't stop listening... this jam is making me live... and helping me get through this boring-ass paperwork!
Ting Ting bro always had the Strattiest Strat sound. Soooo good.
Music industry is unfair. Had they given this song to a AAA pop star, this would have a worldwide #1 hit.
yeah everything is purchased even hits, you only see A-List because they want you to see them.
Her dancing makes me happy. So does this song.
This song's lyrics sound desperate, not happy at all...
Who's getting back to the ting tings during the 2020's quarantine?
and during the second one now...
God. Never gets old.. Luv it. And if you like it? I love it too!! 💋
get me outta this shit.. ;0
🇫🇷
☁️☁️☁️ 3 hours allowed outside since the day before yesterday ☁️☁️ ☁️
I never got out of the Ting Tings. But here I am rockin' out all the same while the world burns.
Ting Tings polished up and really sound GREAT.
She sounds a little like Madonna in her club days and the souder thing is kind of cute for this video.
BTW Her dancing is mesmerizing!
The Ting Tings are my best kept secret. Such an under appreciated duo. For me they capture the true creativity when it comes to being an independent artist.
Secret? ... haha... oh to be young and dumb.... Guess I'm old and 30 but um They been around for many years and aren't much of a secret to many peeps i know anyway....
i wouldn't consider 34 million views a secret.
wkavre
at one time they were popular, but that was a few albums ago. Since then, they've been pretty low-key. Nothing wrong with that. I think it keeps them from having to conform. :)
well, in one video, I got the impression that they were desperate for a youtube hit. "hm, Katie, can you wear very small shorts?" "alright, very small shorts"
Exactly
This is perfect. I haven't listened to Ting Tings in ages. I'm feeling this!
Que saudade. The ting tings merecia mais reconhecimento
Escutei essa música pela primeira vez na C&A hehehe
Eles estão em hiato ou pararam? Na wikipédia tá q estão ativo mas as redes sociais deles tão bem paradas. Último album em 2018...
I'm a die-hard metalhead and I love The Ting Tings since they came out
dude the same here! i love Tool and NIN and Ozzy Osbourne but i love The Tings Tings!!! they are so catchy and talented!
I feel you it's because they are so proudly terrible they are awesome. just like true metal they are outcasts and unappreciated by the masses. like the White Stripes they don't give a f*** they just do their own thing and that's what's so awesome about it.
Damn, I had no clue she could dance her ass off.
+ShaneKarma376 Indeed. That is the part of her I am checking out right now. LOL. Actually I am checking her hair out. Love her hair.
She's playing the disco era sex kitten very well. Love how The Ting Tings' music continues to evolve.
How this didn't become a hit in 2014?
Great Question. I am guessing kinda dark and moody lyrics, and guitar. Not exactly HAPPY from Pharrell. But I am from US and gotta say the BRITS have better musical tastes. RATHER BE by CLEAN BANDIT their top selling song of the year. In USA only reached 10 we are too much into names and reputations. RATHER BE is like the only new song I bought this year. Those Viking descedents make the BEST MUSIC! Heard this on Satellite radio, just last week it could still chart! Why is IGGY bigger than NOVA ROCKEFELLER?
Things take time watch this will become a hit in late 2015
HOW COME THIS DOESN'T HAVE MORE VIEWS??
Is there any female more talented than Katie White? Sings, plays Vocals, guitar, bass drum, cowbell, bass guitar, keyboards, writes, and Dances? Killin it again!!!!!!
check caroline polachek
we have a sleeper hit here, almost a year after its release, the song is finally in the airwaves.
Sick guitar riff

Ting Tings so talented .. I need more !
A million views! Finally!
Aleluia!
still not that much!!!
Medio millón son mios :v
This song should have been a smash hit, I don't get it.
I just love the way Katie dances, my favorite moment of the song starts at 1:58
when i listen to your music it feels like i am back in the 80s
love it
Loving the hair x
this freaking hair
Greatest homage to late 70es early 80es... and still it is just The Ting Tings...
Love the laser beams and the black costume. I don't know whose idea it was for this clip, but it's f..king awesome!!
This song is so underrated. I've seen them do it live, and it really packs a punch.
Thought the Ting Tings might have called it a day but they are back with a really good song.
Very 70s. Love it. Always been a Ting Tings fan.
Zchrist this duo are so, so talented... more recognition deserved and overdue
She is absolutely mesmerizing. This is beauty that I can watch all day every day.
I just recently heard this song somewhere and it totally captured my attention. This song is so awesome! It's one of the best disco songs for the 2000s and yet it's not being played all over the radio like they with other crappy songs from Katy Perry instead. This would be a major hit if all radio stations play it. Regardless keep up the good work and let's bring back the disco!
YES !
cksammi I don't listen to that many new groups, but I heard this playing on the speakers at the gym. Good thing I downloaded the Shazam app a couple months ago. I was just able to pull out the phone and run Shazam 20 seconds before the song ended. That's how I found out about this group. Pretty nice groove. I thought it might have been a song from the 70s or retro 80s. Retro 2010s is good too. Now I have to buy some of their MP3s. Kind of cool to get some new music again (for me). I hear other stuff on the gym radio, but I'm not really into all the hip-hop or dance pop or modern rock. I can get into The Ting Tings though.
cksammi I've been hearing some good-ass songs on SiriusXM lately. I heard this one on Venus, so I'm keeping station 3 on the daily!
Abt at planet fitness right!? That's how I heard it!
Rodney Reed No, at a regional full-service gym. I've never been to Planet Fitness. They don't have any pools, which I use a lot.
One of my all time favourite songs!
you just gotta let the music take you where it is supposed to. you don't steer. this is just reminiscent of growing up and turning the radio on in the 80's, this is a feeling, not a song
I am mesmerized by the lights and her hair
This is pure CHIC sound imitation. The guitar riffs come straight from the legendary Nile Rodgers, who created Get Lucky...this sound is Chic, from late 70s.
This song need more views, is so underrated!.
Maybe this is a daft question, but is that really Katie dancing, or a stand-in dancer with clever camera shots? She’s just so gorgeously lovely.
Thanks For all 😢
No deep shed shoelaces shoefront tongue split 🪓 💼 👔 🧦 👣🦠 🚇 🐚 💘
I simply can't stop watching this video, over and over... wonderful!
It's got that Nile Rodgers guitar riff.
late to reply, but yes, they confirmed that they were paying homage to Nile with this record.
I'm obsessed with this song!!! Is it the melody or the dance moves or her hair... I don't know. It's probably all of that combined :D.
Great beat, great singer, all around a great song. Should be on all the radio stations.
The Ting Tings never disappoints! :)
Considering all the background The Ting Tings have, i think it was logic that the'd take a step on this direcction, even without the Daft Punk album. Maybe Random Access Memories just encouraged them and was like something that told them "you're doin it right".
RAM totally change mainstream music, it's a combination of Thriller, From Here To Eternity, I Remember Yesterday and C'est Chic
glad im not the only one who noticed the similarities!! Im totally expecting a wave of funkish music from more mainstream artist in the next year. Or I could be completely wrong.
Fraus I hope so! I love the Nial Rodgers sound that this song has.
This sounds and video is perfection!
Desert island disc for sure.
Watching this band's development for years is a real fun experience!
Oh my God, I love them!
I like that "Last night a DJ saved my life" homage.
Oh the nostalgia I’m feeling listening to this again
Still fine in 2018. Very underrated.
now that was something, these guys are continuing to get better and better. looking forward to seeing what else they have in store.
The disco comeback is real in 2k14!
I swear I've heard this beat a thousand times but it's still catchy as hell & between the slick moves & solid melody I'm totally sold on this new direction for The Ting Tings
I like how they do whatever they want.
You can't predict how the next song is going to sound.
This song was played on a radio station in Chicago last night!
Man the tunes in this takes me back....love it!
Love this band, I still play their last album a lot, just downloaded the new one, Awesome! loving the 80's vibe
This video was amazing.
Very different for them. I love it!
Seeestra! #CloneClub.
hahahahaha best comment evah
I thought exactly the same lol
Helena :3
hahaha to mijandooo
what has this song got to do with that? im just wondering
I wasn't expecting anything good from them, and their comeback was amazing!
This is what the LaRoux comeback single should've sounded like.
Amazing.
I love this song
and I will continue listening to her... 2021
This is GREAT! It's simple but so fun and I hope this song gets to the radio ASAP
I love that Diana Ross is the inspiration for the next album
kriz celis :-/ If only they were influenced by the delicate Diana Ross of '73 instead of this later sexualized disco Ross... it would have been better for my ears
Ting Tings understand so much. But most importantly they understand cowbell. There is never enough cowbell. Thank you Ting Tings.
Perfect, perfect and perfect...God!!!! I loved this song and video. *-*
That is a killer rhythm guitar, reminds me of Nile Rogers...
L.O.V.E. this!! I'm glad Daft Punk has helped bring DISCO back. Though those arguing this sounds like "Get Lucky" are sort of right, I'd have to say Get Lucky just has a pretty standard disco instrumental (like this one). Let's not pretend Daft Punk invented it or anything....
Exactly! Since when did Daft Punk copyright this sort of sound? They haven't. This track is brilliant, hope it's a hit for them!
I wouldn't pretend such a thing but I also wouldn't say they just plucked a style from the past and ran with it. Their sound is made from a bunch of very nerdy guys who dig analog synthesizers and know how to use them in a modern mix. Disco if you just randomly play a station online tends to be quite thin. Daft Punk managed to get a real filled out warmth in their disco inspired stuff. Really smart guys as far as sound design goes and a well deserved success. My fave is still the Tron sound track which gives me goosebumps on a really good setup, shame the film was a bit of a lemon.
awesomeeeee!! finally some good mainstream music! so happy
Katie is definitely can dance.. WOW!! 😅😆💙
Miss White, along with F. Welch have lots of talent and lovely legs!
And lovely crimped hair
This deserves more views. certainly!
soooo much perfect video. waiting for great album!
I have always loved the Ting Tings. I miss your guys music!!!! NEW ALBUM?????
2019! Loved you guys since day 1
Este vídeo se lo pongo a mi hija para que vea que bailar no tiene porque ser movimientos súper rápidos y de una elasticidad terrible . Sentir la música , esa es la clave.
The Ting Tings! We missed you so much! Always the best.
idk about this band but that guitar intro riff HOLY SHIT!! im a fan
I was never a fan of The Ting Tings, but I really like this song. :)
+FreedomWriter3 i kind of hated them but this song just rocks!
+FreedomWriter3 Same here
+FreedomWriter3 First song I heard from them and I was hooked on this. Tried to find something else by them that I would like. Nada. This is the only song I like from them. I like this because it is very Nile Rodgers.
i actually kinda got into indie songs because of the ting tings but i really hated shut up and let me go, and that's not my name, but i heard great DJ and be the one and kinda loved them, then years past and i actually listened to that's not my name again and suddenly i fell in love with it, and then i looked back years before when i used to change the channel from channel V or MTV whenever that song plays and how i felt like i missed out on a great song that i am just discovering now, but i actually was happy cause i was excited about songs again suddenly and how i saw my taste in music expanded so i got hooked watching channel V especially and saw two door cinema club and from there on i got hooked watching all those youtube videos about indies music you have to watch before you die stuff and got introduced to bands like the shins, broken social scene, arcade fire, phoenix, XX and right now i still love searching for new or old indie bands that i have yet to listen to, and it all started with the ting tings.
P.S. i used to like local stuff from my country(philippines) and mainstream music from the US and bands like RHCP Foofighters and some older bands but kinda got bored with it, i really like indie now i really don't know why but there is someting with their sound that really gets my ears excited whenever i listen to indie.
Thanks Ting Tings, thanks for this huge tune!
The guitar riff come straight from "He's the greatest dancer" of Sister Sledge, a spinoff from CHIC, Nile Rodgers!
Good call but almost every rhythm guitar riff is sampled from that guitar god Niles Rodgers, just like bass riffs sampled from CHIC'S Bernard Edwards especially GOOD TIMES, most sampled bass riff in HISTORY!!
OMG YOU'RE BACK ILY
Love that hair
me encanta !!
un sonido como antes !!
I missed them, so glad they're back
La mejor canción de The Tin Tings..............
This album was inspired by EDM and the 70s. The Wrong Club represents those moments at 4 am when you're at the club and are ready to pass out of throw up, or whatever your on or your alcohol has worn off. It's a fun song that brings in realism.
Los extraño... Me traen tan buenos recuerdos, su música es tan buena! 💜
Makes me happy watching her dancing having fun
One of the best music videos ever
Omg im in love with their music😳💕
All the people complaining about the disco sound and mentioning Daft Punk, please listen to "Shut up and let me go" kthnx.
thanks for this song, I have come back to life, I love you the ting tings!!!
♡ Umm! 2014,the year of the best songs and new generations in the music!! ♡
damn this song is catchy
HOLA
is it me or I feel a touch of melody of lose your self to dance by daft punk?
Yeah its like daft punk with katie's voice
and i love it
well it's not like they invented disco, but you can easily do a mashup between those two songs, so, yeah, they're very similar.
I think the better comparison would be Daft Punk to all other disco artists preceding them. Their album is a massive mashup of old music that hadn't been popular in the mainstream for a while.
I just made a similar comment, hadn't read the comments and now i see lots of people are hearing it. There's an analog buzz that Daft Punk have that's all their own that isn't in this track though, doesn't sound as sweet but I'm a big fan of old analog synths so that's just my own kink I guess, not putting the track down for its sound.
Great sound !
The 70's are back.
