    This was very helpful. It also tells me how important it is to learn the stories that go along with these images. Thank you Lisa.😊

      You're most welcome, Judy. I think the myths/stories associated with the cards are the most important element. Learn them (which is fascinating and fun!) and you'll understand the entire system!

    I LOVE Grand Jeu for the reasons mentioned! I got away from them just because at times they feel like hard work. I like this idea of matching meanings with other systems as a reference/reminder! Great suggestion.

    Every letter on the card is instructing which next should be read ( which picture will be read) , the herbs will will be for that particular issue or question/ answers.
    Also the letters can get persons names, city or just any needed names that you may need it's very useful for soul mate name's ( husband's and wife name's) .
    Another example would begin who is the enemy at work so you answer for example well it's a women with long black hair , hmm problem there's two of them 😂. Much easier to get the names and here you go straight answers without over thinking is it Kelly or Samantha .
    Now the herbs are one of the most important because the herbs you get you should use in any healing or other situations. For example you got the first card with " Levkoy, Mesembriantemum, Doroteantus, Kakao" depending on the question this can be used for that particular situation. Most of the herb that we use are also used as tea , baths or as arrangement in house, work, car.
    There are hidden templates with masters that will provide with herbs for healing purposes.
    For example there was a young man with leukemia medical treatments didn't help as much, but the miracle eas recommended for him to use " Yollen" herbs with honey, ( just like spoon eating 3 or 4 time a day, including the same tea to drink 3 cups a day, got him to recovery) . I guess what I want to say is that there is much more than what we possibly can imagine.
    Hopefully we'll speak again, please Lisa don't get affected negatively by my comments I would love to hear your opinion when you tried with names and herbs.
    Thanks.

    This was a strange way of using grand jeu. The way I normally have seen it done is the smaller images on the bottom left and right modify the larger image of the neighboring cards
    So the bottom left image of card number 3 would modify the central idea of card number 2
    And you carry on making these parallels to form the whole picture. I suppose thats very formulaic and I know some readers don’t care for such methods, that’s just how I’m used to seeing it

    • @lisaloveslenormand6357
      @lisaloveslenormand6357  Před rokem

      That's exactly how I use these cards. Check out my ever-growing playlist here: czcams.com/play/PLOYf5vV15MHaLvXtD6jNhXBthrSkri324.html. If you go to 7:00 in this video, you'll hear me start to incorporate the flanking cards into the central story put forth by the center card. In order to understand the small images on any card, you need to understand the theme of the entire card. As you continue listening, you'll hear me pair the small images of the outer cards that touch the center card. I also mention for the left-hand, or card #1, that you'd get the opposite message if you were considering the left small image. I then do the same with the 8 of Diamonds, considering the theme of the card and incorporating the left small image into the story of the center card.

      @@lisaloveslenormand6357 ah okay. Apologies I suppose it was late when I was watching this. I’ll have to give it another look through to get a grasp of what you’re doing. To be fair I don’t have much experience with this system. It’s hard to get a hold of these cards. It’s rather niche unfortunately.
      One thing I didn’t mention though that I wanted to is this. Is it really a good practice to compare these cards to their tarot equivalents? Different cartomantic systems can have different or even completely contradictory meanings despite being the same number and suit. I think you even said in one video how trying to do that with petit jeu doesn’t really work well. So I was confused what the point of doing it here was

    • @lisaloveslenormand6357
      @lisaloveslenormand6357  Před rokem

      @@kaylaa2204 No apologies, needed. Your second comment brings up an excellent point. The point isn't to compare these cards to tarot, but to use one's knowledge of tarot as a foundation - a place to start - in order to get a grasp on the meaning of each card. Because these cards incorporate cartomancy as one of the elements of each card, you can use a knowledge of playing cards to establish the foundation that you'll then build upon through all the other elements of each card (the 3 images, flowers, letter, geomantic symbol, and constellation). Because so many more readers use tarot than playing cards, you can still ground yourself in the basic meaning of each card if you find the correlation between the other elements and the loosely-equivalent tarot card. I, like you, wasn't sure that I wanted to mention tarot in relation to this system, but my gut told me to do it and I've had more people open their minds to this system since I made that connection. Think of it this way, when you're learning something foreign - something you have no knowledge of - you need to link it to something that you already know as a jumping-off point to get the ball rolling. Does that make sense?

    • @kaylaa2204
      @kaylaa2204 Před rokem

      @@lisaloveslenormand6357 that’s a good point, yeah. So it’s not to say they’re perfectly comparable across the board but that it’s a good practice in trying to explore and make sense of it.
      It’s sort of like learning a language and I’m abit of a language nerd. If you’re learning another Latin language a lot of the easiest words are words that come from the same roots as your main language. I’ve even seen foreign speakers of English do a similar thing. In school for Spanish class in high school we went to see a Spanish speaker speak, but his English wasn’t the best. So when he meant “what does x mean” (can’t remember the exact context) he said “what is the significance of x” which makes sense because it’s similar to “que significa” and it makes enough sense in English.
      Not a perfect comparison but I think a similar thing could apply to cartomancy.
