Great video! Future-proofing your career means investing in yourself in a way to be able to generate more than one income stream, being hireable (by more than one company), being financially independent enough so that you can choose between career options, and developing an adaptive mindset.
What? are we on earth cz we have to earn so that we donot die of hunger.
Great talk, Dorie. Especially like to references to Daniel Goleman and Emotional Intelligence. I also like the idea that luck is a mindset based on being curious, and open-minded.
I love Dorie Clark talks 😀
Truly inspiring and great stories! I really admire how Dorie Clark articulates everything so perfectly.
Great talk Dorie, should be 'required listening' for all as they enter the workforce!
Thanks Dorie. Great and practical ideas to improving one's career.
I can't agree more! What a great talk!
You are absolutely right. It is important to believe that what we do has value.
I really enjoyed the talk. The stories that you used and the people you introduced us to within those stories really helped make the lessons stick.
Take the initiative. Apply what you've learned. Ask for what you want. Focus on small wins. Rethink impossible.
Great Vidio! I really enjoyed watching it! Thanks alot! 🌹
Excellent advice! We often underestimate the amount of work, creativity, and ingenuity we need if we want to develop a satisfying and long-lasting career.
Indeed, appreciated your invitation to invest in ourselves & seek to create multiple streams of income, Dorie. I, applaud your urging us to focus on the small wins, and ultimately to rethink Impossible. I love Mick Ebeling's work through his Not Impossible Foundation! Ultimately the charge to be nimble in this 'world of disruption' is worthy indeed; thanks!
Why this video got so little view. This is a hidden gem . Thanks.
Excelente. Definitivamente, necesitamos leer, consumir contenido, profundizar, relfexionar, observar adentro y afuera una y otra vez. Thanks for this Dorie,

Wish i hadn't watched this video... now my passions i will go for it.... only problem is the 1st step is the hardest because of the fear of failure... after watching this I'm now ready to face that fear....
Dear Ma'am, I loved your presentation.
I just want you to imagine same question being asked to an AI and it replying "Witholding of information" 😂
absolutely brilliant talk. Loved it!
This is pure perfection. I read a book with similar content, and it was pure perfection. "Mastering Money Mindfulness" by Benjamin Hawk
Lots of broad truisms - take the initiative, ask for what you want - but no specifics. What recommendations do you have for people to update their skills, i.e., what tech courses specifically do they need to take so they might have a job ten years from now? No specifics.
There is an abundance of free education material on the Internet, e.g. MIT OpenCourseWare, and many authors/professors publish free books. What subjects you study are mostly up to you.
