  • My quickest run in my first ever Chasing the Dragon Hillclimb near Robbinsville, NC My little touge Miata was good enough for 2nd in Street Unlimited and 3rd Overall.

    Nice, what tires were you running? Rear spoiler? I may be joining the hillclimb this year with a 93 turbo.

      Look forward to seeing you there. The rear spoiler is Blackbird Fabworx, and the tires are Nankang AR1.

    Are you in the NC ashville area? Looking to be there to visit soon. I have a 90 miata turbo and a 2019 sti . Long trip so probably taking the sti.

      My best time is 119 seconds for the 2.2 mile course. So, about 66mph?

    How many miles you have on this set up? Any complaints?

      Probably 30k miles since the Rotrex install. It's a very good setup if you are more interested in response/balance than overall power. I enjoy it, it draws you in as a driver.

      @@GazornanDSR the main appeal to me is being able to drive it hard without going through transmissions or having to build my engine like I imagine I would with a turbo setup at the same power level. I know turbos are more fun but driving is also more fun than wrenching
