My biggest pet peeve at shows is when people get so drunk they can’t tell when you’re trying to get away from them, and so now you have some drunk idiot that you don’t know following you around for no reason

I hate when people are recording the concert on their phone while they're in the middle of the pit. And then they get mad when they're phone gets ruined cuz they dropped it

pet peeve: Is when you're wearing your favorite metal shirt and you have to go through the interrogation of naming the best albums, songs and the singers weirdest kink from that band before someone will just chill and have a beer with you.

Back in 2016 I was at a Rob Zombie concert. At one point he came walking throught the seats. He saw a guy playing with his phone so he stopped and stood right next to him. The guy one the phone was totally oblivious. There's a funny video of Zombie getting mad at the audience when he got back on stage. The next time he went there he allowed pretty much any camera fans wanted to bring as long as they didn't use their phones

One thing I learned at a Slayer show many many years ago - When you enter and/or exit any area or room of the venue, you must yell "SLAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYEEEEEERRRRRR" to which someone will surely respond "FUCKIN' SLAAAAAAAAAYYYYYEEEERRRRRR"

I'm 12 and my first metal concert was the final slayer tour in Brisbane Australia and I was in the front row of the pit on My dads shoulders it was sick

my biggest pet peeve at concerts are the people who seem to just have wandered in by chance with no idea what this is. such people often flail around in the mosh pit with absolutely no knowledge of its etiquette. I had some girl accidentally punch me in the sternum while she was square dancing in the mosh pit during Belphegor. Some dude wandered into Watain in Atlanta and commented on how interesting this was and would we like to buy some coke.
Also, the tall people always stand directly in front of me. Sometimes they even have a tall manbun on the top of their head for some extra inches.
And has anyone else been whipped in the eyes by the long hair of the headbanger in front of you?? that's a true rite of passage.
I hate when I get a reserved seat and there's the one person who yells at people to sit down. Why don't more people take things like view or access to the bathroom into account?

Actually he's got a point: Your t-shirt size depends on what you've eaten. I for example sometimes like to eat so much my t-shirts get a bit tight if not too small.

My concert outfit is simple. Black Jeans(I have some skinny and some normal), a black band shirt(cuz the only thing I own), my shoes(they untie in the moshpit R.I.P.), maybe a necklace, and my battlevest(hand sewn on patches of bands I listen). I also get there insanely early(usually front or second in line to support the local).

I got into metal music like 2 years ago, and I have been to 1 metal concert since then. It was a Meshuggah concert in Chicago. The atmosphere was less crazy than I thought it would be. It was easy to stay not too far from the scene, relatively close to the centre. Probably, it has something to do with the fact that it was Meshuggah and not a more mainstream kind of band. I dressed kinda normally, just black jeans, t-shirt and jacket. No hat. And shoes that won't slip. After all, maybe it was a bit lame). I did record a few songs, sorry. It was too good to resist. But I've tried to take as little space as I could and wasn't really making the concert less watchable for anyone, I hope. Otger than that, I was just hadbanging a bit, enjoying the music, nothing crazy. Bought a T-shirt with an album cover before the show started. Well, I had to try it on, because some M-s fit me perfectly and some don't, but it didn't take more than like 15 seconds. It was a great experience, and I don't think I made anyone's experience worse

Corrosin of Conformity is one of the greatest bands of all time. Wait to inbetween songs to look for a lost shoes. If you can't find it, take the other one off because running with one shoe is uncomfortable. You can find both of them at the end of the show. No Karate in the Pit!
