All New 2025 Acura ADX Facelift: Review - Price - Interior And Exterior Redesign
A new Acura SUV was teased at a recent Honda preview of upcoming items and corporate developments. But don't let that little mention fool you: This new Acura is sure to turn heads. It will be the most compact and affordably priced SUV from the brand, falling in between the RDX (compact), MDX (three-row midsize), and the all-electric ZDX (soon to be produced). The refreshed Integra hatchback has been Acura's entry-level offering for the last 12 months or so, but the new SUV is likely to supplant it. Despite being more expensive than the Integra, the form guarantees a higher volume of sales.
Would you happen to have the next Acura's name? In what form will it take? In particular, what will it depend on? We do have some indicators, but no official statement has been made yet. Here we go: "ADX Facelift" is the name of the game. We thought Honda had trademarked the "CDX" moniker, but Acura changed our minds and said it's the "ADX Facelift" name, so we know it's not the latter.
Similar to Honda's affordable crossover, the HR-V, this SUV will likely borrow styling elements from that vehicle. Previously, the CDX-basically an improved version of the previous-generation HR-V-was sold in China as an entry-level Acura SUV.
Therefore, the Honda HR-V will most likely serve as the basis for the 2025 Acura ADX Facelift. Not to be mistaken with the CDX offered in China, the Integra is a heavily upgraded take on the current Honda Civic hatchback. It has a more posh inside, different powertrain options than the standard Civic, and a unique look to boot. Taking design cues from the Civic, the HR-V is a compact SUV with an optional all-wheel drive system and a more robust exterior. We fail to perceive any rationale for Acura not to draw inspiration from the outstanding Civic family's respectable base for the Integra, a class above, for the similarly entry-level ADX Facelift.
We modeled the ADX Facelift after the HR-V's body shell, and it's not bad. Aside from the aggressive grille and long front and back overhangs, the most recent HR-V is more angular and has a lower profile than its dumpling-shaped predecessor. The interior is passable, including attractive controls and a sleek dashboard inspired by the Civic
