[EAS] Idaho EBS Test Alert, 1982

- Short home video recording of a regular weekly EBS test from an independent TV station in Boise, Idaho. Cassette dated January 12, 1982.
This video was a little test to see if it was possible to create a retro VHS effect with Sony Movie Studio. I personally think it turned out pretty well! If you want to achieve an effect like this, I HIGHLY recommend this tutorial from Demonic Sweaters: ( • How to make VHS Vaporw... )
The winter term is finally over, and after finals I plan on using this effect to create some local58-style mocks for you guys. Expect to see a video or two by mid-January!

The slide looks almost like WKBD tv 50 and the replaced WDIV channel 4 slide in 1989 Detroit note the Civil Defense logo on the top left and Emergency Broadcast System On The right except when the attention signal sounds the words on the top right changes to the word TEST.

The good news is KTRV’s slide from 1996 is up on CZcams they might’ve retired the one with the CD logo by then. Was this the real slide in this video from KTRV in 1982
