So glad Australia is getting the love it deserves with JDM stuff. Been doing almost as long as the Japanese. We build for power and speed but we keep it clean, yes sir.

Australia does JDM very well sure. But nobody does it like Japan does it. We all copy Japan. UK comes after Japan but Australia is above USA who they have done better the last 10yrs but Japan didn't bother sending irs beast cars unless they'd get love thats why UK always got the Japan specials.
Even when Australia was focused on following USA down the muscle car straight line missiles even beating USA at that game even in the 70s.
The aussie 70s monaro? Left the mustangs for 💩 in UK racing. But.... even with all that power the aus cars soon fell behind the rocket ship lightweights and soon followed Europe instead of USA.
By the time the race wars was rs500 vs r33 Australia was all over the British rs500 but quickly learning the skyline is mayb the future. Which it was.
Just watch bathhurst ausaie legends what they drove when they switched from v8 to euro cars then to Nissan cars.
The v8 bs always was mayb still is a huge part of Australia car culture though and that just is not JDM at all

I love how overseas you see more than a bunch of r35’s and Audi/lambos at the roll racing events. Overseas events have a big variety of early import cars. I know it’s due to availability, but it’s cool seeing old cars still getting down.
Supercars are just way too expensive in australia.

I LOVE that Gti-R. I am in the states, and I have owned and daily driven 2 of them. Besides my evos, they are the most fun cars I have ever had. I deeply regret letting go of them.

I'd take a GTiR over a GTR, even though I love both. This is the most amazing one I"ve seen. I've owned and have been following Sr20 stuff for decades now. Sick build!
GTR is worth more now and even more in the future. choosing the GTiR is a terrible investment

It will be a similar value to r32 & r33 Gtrs within ten years.
Production numbers are also far less than both of those Gtrs from memory.
