Leaving a winch line loose isn't ideal, cuz the line spool can be loose not spreading evenly which might lack tension to pull you off a sticky situation mate, 285/70R17 in the best tyres and wheels combo for Hilux, it has a decent sidewalls that gribs and mould rocks, hard tree roots or trunks on rutted out trails when airing down about 20 psi even with bead lock you can go down as low as 13 psi when doing the bead, however being and IFS lifting more than 2 inch can be hard on your CVs sometimes even with adjustable upper arm control. Center of gravity is something you don't wanna mess with if you wheel carrying light load. A spare CV of two with all kinds of tools and recovery kits and a very good power source is a must have if you plan on a week or longer trips of the grid. A good time and fuel management will safe you from a lot of stress. Some spare parts, med kits, fire extinguisher, good sets of recovery kits, shovel, enough food and water and lastly a personal locater device like Garmin inreach mini, ACR resQlink are some basic item many people tend to overlooked. Nice truck and nice video. There are few anamolies though. Im confused if this is a show off truck or a serious off roading pick up truck. No off roader worth his salt would ever put a 20 inch wheel on a pick up truck that has any off road intenstions. Nitto mud grappler is a mud terrain tire that is apt of MUD, this tire has poor performance on the tarmac as well as snow. 7 inch lift is again overkill as this will seriously affect the driving dynamics, steering and suspension geometry no matter what the aftermarket suspension supplier is telling you. It is a great looker but still seems like mall crawler. There is a lot of unnecessary bling that is screaming "Look at me". I'm curious how do you propose to deal with law enforcement agencies when they confront you. Most of these modifications seem to be illegal as per Indian Motor Vehicle Act.
