This is our final install video for the Rolling Wrench GY6 electronic fuel injection kit. This kit is the first of its kind as far as we know. This kit is designed specifically for the GY6 150cc engine. This kit will come plug and play no welding, cutting or splicing wires of any type. Pre tuned, plug in and go! You will however need to drill a hole in your gas tank for a return fuel line. You must also have a 11 pole stator so it can keep up with the added electronics.

Awesome initiative ! I have only just started playing with 2 strokes, done lots of EFI work on modified cars. This is great, well done !
2 stroke are way better then 4 stokes imo.
2 strokes dont have timing chains, rocker arms, or head valves. Its usually just a piston, jug, and a solid head wirh a spark plug hole.
Its quite amazing design with alot better power curve then 4 strokes.

@@noneshere 4 stroke engine are better since they don’t wear out faster than a greasy ass 2 stroke. A 2 stroke uses too much friction, and thus wears out the engine block quicker. And can overheat quickly which is why you almost never see air cooled 2 stroke engines.
Nice kit. Nice job sourcing good parts and designing it to be clean. Not a mess.

How do we sign up for non standard beta testing? That plug that isn't used a tuning or diagnostic port? Are there gonna be cables for us guys that don't have scooters? We might have a gy6 but our extra weight and (normally lower) gearing will effect what makes more power for us.

I've got 2 questions with regard to this kit. The 4 wire plug from the ECU that you said to short out, is that for an oxygen sensor? And the other question, could this kit be used to make a Euro3 GY6 into a Euro4 compliant GY6?

I have a stock short case gy6 150cc engine and i modified it to my stock pronto moped. I have the gy6 150cc wireharness installed would that be an easy install for my moped or would it diffrent? do to my moped not being a ruckus?

Just got a 168cc EFI scooter. Wanted to replace stock exhaust and air filter, but did notice a possible sensor wire going into the exhaust pipe. Will this mess up or throw off the EFI system if I messed with those two mods?

This is awesome! Few questions about the fuel pump. Does this kit require the stock GET pump? Most GY6 conversion like mine use the mikuni vacuum pump.
You would only need one fuel pump. The one we supply.
vacuum pumps don't provide enough pressure for an injector.
Would this system work for the Chinese scooters with the gy6 or is this just rusckus
What is the tuneability of going from a stock 150cc, up to 171, 180, and possibly 232? Will this need to be reprogrammed, or will the ECU automatically adjust for the higher displacement?

BastaGenug it makes a big difference between buying it now for a stock 150cc but having goals and dreams of going bigger. He says at the very beginning "there's a tune, plug and play" but is installing it on a stock GY... I need upgrade options lol

I read that you have to pic the efi kit per size of the motor. So if you buy it with say your stock 150cc and out on a big bore kit you would need to buy a new efi kit that has a bigger mm size. Yes you can tune with it but that's mainly for different exhausts or camshafts.

Hey rolling wench :) watched some of your videos ... i got 1 question do ... i recently bought a Motowell Darox scoot (made in hungary) 49cc 4 stroke EFI scooter , led's and digital dash .. front and rear disk breaks .. its a beauty ... but .. if i want to make it to 80cc ... will the efi system need tuning ?? if i disrestrict it .. it will go about 75 km/h ( it has 2.8 kw power) , thats why i wanna buy a malossi 80cc aluminium engine kitt ... giveme some advice pls :) thx

Will this be "plug and play" for non-ruckus GY6's? e.g. the throttle body would need to point backwards. Also, will hooking it up to the stock airbox require a re-tune?
That is a work in progress as well. We will offer both GY6 and Stock GET motor kits..... It’s been a looooong road. But we are making head way :-)

Well, this kit or just the pump work on a Suzuki Burgman 400 cc fuel ejected motor. My plan was to modify my tank and swap the Suzuki Burgman 400 cc fuel injection from there to my Yamaha Majesty c. But seeing this got me wandering the possibilities. Ps the model is CJ43

Ya, it won’t hit. It just won’t install with out pushing the suspension down.

Yes, it will work on a 250cc motorcycle. As long as it’s a single cylinder. Not multiple throttle bodies.

I need you to do some ride vlogs with your 4v 232cc taida fuel injected, top speed, etc. I know the volumetric efficiency has to be outstanding compared to a typical GY6. You got a nice setup and I would love to see some of this stuff in action. I think it'll also boost your sales with seeing some visuals. Just my opinion. Also, with it pre-tuned, can you open it back up and work the tables a lil bit more for more power in ultimate 232cc builds or do you have to get the other version of EFI for that?

I honestly doubt it the only difference might be a small gain mainly you might get a little more consistency if the tune is right be a man stay with the carburetor spend the money on cam,bore, exhaust etc.

A shame the company couldn't develop something like this for classic 2 stroke Vespa and Lambretta's because there is a HUGE market just waiting for something like this for the 2T market esp in Britain, Germany and Australia where there are large ownerships of the old 2T scooters (I have a 1958 Lambretta and a 1985 Vespa myself) and in Germany where they have the tuned to the nuts racers like the Quattrini setups which built into a Vespa small frame has become the go to racer setup with phenomenal results seen in much bigger "crotch rockets" but all are carb based because no one makes an injection rig for these single cylinder engines.
This issues with the old bikes is the charging system can’t keep up.
@@RollingWrench I understand that you are doubtful that the battery charging is not sufficient to energise the fuel pump. Now a days many vintage 2 stroke owners are converting their contact breaker ignition to CDI,when doing so the charging also improved greatly. Hence you may develop EFI for vintage 2 stroke bikes such as Yamaha RDs and Kawasaki three cylinder bikes.
