- The Rigid bender delivers on so many levels of simplicity and its professional results are what users have come to expect from PrimoChill.
Each bender base is CNC'd from ABS material giving your bender a tough and durable foundation to work from. On top of the ABS is a precision laser cut acrylic measuring and angle system to ensure proper bends and lengths between those bends. To top it all off, 3 stable, slide-able, and adjustable arms enable you to secure your bends while they cool and set up.
The Rigid Bender is the perfect tool for pros and novices alike, measure/cut/heat/bend. Unlike other bending jigs/tools, the bender is very portable and does not need to be anchored to a table or work bench to give you perfect repeatable bends time after time.

Potentially a great product, but this video doesn't show it off and worse confuses the viewer at points (hold this at 90? you should have flipped it around the other arm as well and you would have it at a real 90 as it would have been supported by two arms.)
Wish you would made some real world spaced bends ... "this area here" etc isn't too useful. If you want people to try this modding method out (and purchase this easy to use product) I would have had some fittings on disused gear, or pegs on plywood ... if a component is 585mm spacing away ... show how to measure that (center of fitting to center of the fitting) and how to get the 90 degree bends. ask the viewer to double check that they are not measuring the distance from the wrong edges of the fittings and such.
I find using the tube (i have a tube with paracord in it for some stiffness) and work out the end on the jig first.
Beautiful product guys. As soon as I'm done with deployment I will be getting one!
Are you done with the military?
@@venividivici4253 yes sir I retired a few years ago.
That would be SO handy!!
they got guys waiting for questions AND answers.... bahaha
The person talking in the video needs to say "you know" a few more times. You know?
+Jeremy Richards i had to stop watching because of that and alos suffocating the heat gun, great way to burn it out!
I was a little hesitant but with this tool and this new material for tubing, count me in! lol Are they any down sides to using PETG Tubing?
Cowboy Bradley The reason the ruler portion starts at 1 inch rather than from 0. Is because it is accounting for the gap between where the bend arm and the ruler begins. so between the center point of the arm and the markings is 1 inch.
i use the inner tube for marking and put tape on that with markers then when its in the tube you got all you need, just use hands and eyes for the bend, most the time just need a 90 and that's fairly easy for anyone to do, if theirs a couple of weird bends to get round a chassis use 2 small bits of pipe on the insert pipe and move around the chassis with it to see how it would look, its not glass tubes so don't have to be 100% precise.
I saw a problem with this right away before 20 sec mark of the video, it dont have the tube dimensions carved into the bend corners, its just like bending metal, you need grooves on the edges where the pipe shall lay so it dont get bent outwards on the edges of the bend
Worried about the noise from a cooling fan and yet the heat gun is 4" away from the mic. LMAO
Was here
When do you expect more benders in stock?
I've seen people from Monsoon doing extra-precision bending with their measurement tools...if I'm new to petg and I want a cooling loop (cpu, gpu, pump and 2 res), should I be that careful ? With Phanteks Enthoo Primo red
+Louis-Frederick Gagnon Send your Rig to MNPCTECH an they will do all your liquid cooling installs, if you want Acrylic hard style tubing they will do that for you. ( MNPCTECH.com ) tell em IVOIDWARRANTI3S sent ya :)
how do you measure what angle bends you need in your computer for rigid tubing
Are the angles marked up, you done 90's, what about 45's and so on, be nice to see a system build using this bender you know.
When I bend my clear tubing the bend areas get hazy. What causes this? It's driving me crazy. All my bends look great I just can't get past the discolored bent section of tube.
mine that I got today the bending arms come in parts and you have to build them up.
The ruler on this starts at 1" ...am I reading this or looking at this wrong? If I want a 5 inch bend starting at the 1" mark I'd have to go to 6" right? Why not start at 0? It would also be nice to see rulers on the arms themselves to watch length between bends. Or degree marking on the circular side, to measure bend angles. :)
The 1" is where you set the stop, the part that you bend the tube on would be 1" from that point. So if you wanted a 5" bend you would just set it at 5" and the reason for it not starting at 0 is that there is a gap between the arms that they have already accounted for.
You know but you have to scruff up the arms when you recieve the "bender" because you know they dont grip the "pipe"......................you know.........
This comes with 8 hard plastic pieces and 6 soft pieces? How do you set up the arms? 2 4 hard pieces and 1 6 soft pieces? am i missing a 9th hard piece?
Where do I get a white wax pen!?
So is the barrow one a knock off or you guys actually collaborated on this. Their stuff seems pretty high quality for the money but the shape and marking are exactly the same.
the link to the Rigid Bender doesn't work. =(
i used this primochill tube, but it is not so easy to bend it like the video!!
if you move the tube so close to the heatgun, like him in the video it gets damaged very easily.
i am using primo silicone an primo tube,no another brand!!anyone believe the same?
or it is in mind only.
I want that tool
You do??
Hey uh, do you know where umm I could get, uh, this?
I think it's discontinued I can't find it anywhere
Did you read the instructions?
A very nice idea, but there is no third line for shaping to have more possibilities, the author makes 90-degree bends very sloppily (or rather, he doesn't do them at all, only in the 17th minute he succeeded if he used a set square to set these black plastic arms)
I want to make a S shape in a acrylic tube how can i achieve this, your bends are sharp, I want long U shape smooth bends, I need this to create a art work, if you can help that will be great..
I made a chandelier out of this acrylic tubes....
for petg this is overkill...its super easy to bend
Are these still available?
Yes, Titan Rig sells them under the Barrow name
what a great tool for producing terrible bends
How Long Should You Heat Up PETG Tubing For I saw ***** Say You should Heat Up PETG a bit Longer That Acrylic...Never Said How long tho...?
+GeotechhRick he said in the video, till it is malleable
This guy talk too much and can't bare the heat gun sound. Too much theory.
You know..
Why isnt there a ruler on each of the arms??? Thats where it should be to get correct measurement to bend. And theres nothing holding or indicating the bend is exactly 90°, he just holds it and.. guesses? so the arms and the device does nothing more then your right hand would do! AND THERES NO FREAKING RULER ON THE ARMS.. NO CM, NO INCH, NOTHING. Unless you only have 1 hand, I just cant figure out what the device does to better or ease the bending
wow, he had the heat gun running for more than 3 minutes during the video just talking before even using it :(
I received this thing today and am very confused. You show it bending tubing and I am sure it does it well, but it has ZERO real world use when trying to build a system. It has marking on it with no explanation.....
It would be useful to add angle markings on the left arm that does, you know, bend angles. Like at 8:30 when you make the 90 bend.. you say, it looks straight coming off there.. its kind of important for it to be 90, not look 90.
Needless to say I am returning this and kind of ticked this thing costs $50 bucks. I know you mean well because using rigid tubing is a pain, but have you actually used this to build a system? Maybe if you showed that then all this would make sense.
Not having used this, I can't comment on how it actually performs. But having just gone through my third attempt at building a rigid loop, I'm looking at this thing and wondering how I would reference my lengths (and as you said, know that my angles were, in fact, correct). In the end, I bought a kit that has billet aluminum mandrels that allowed me to make perfects bends with centerline lengths coming up perfect. Warmed up the tubes, formed them around the mandrels, let them cool, installed them with no force or tweaking necessary. My only wish was that for more complicated bends I had more mandrels to play with. But $100 only goes so far. To be honest, I wish I'd started with it, instead of assuming that I could just wing it.
ya heat guns going to burnout bro 8-}
Honestly this is the worst way to use that tool. The tool itself looks great. But if you just kept the top slider in on the top slit, and left it perfectly horizontal, then use the left angle slider at the angle you wanted, you would get much better bends with a much easier and more intuitive process.
wtf this dude just shows a board which is basically a claw. you could easily just hold the other end in your hand and bend it.
Goodness....too much talking. Just get to bending. The tool is self explanatory... especially when you show it in action.
none of this video makes any sense like seriously this is PrimoChills youtube account?!?! like he himself didnt even use the product as its intended he was half ass using it they should pull this vidoe down and have someone actually put some effort into making the video instead of winging it.
