    Tommy Shaw is such a natural musician. And he projects such joy when he plays. One of the all time greats, in my opinion.

    • @johnpolitis7929
      @johnpolitis7929 Před 10 měsíci

      @davel7791 Tommy Shaw did Cuppy Smith wrong. It was his first wife. He cheated on her and he slandered her with the song Queen of Spades because he was jealous that she went and married Mike or Michael Corby of The Babys. So he wrote a song about her as a gambling addict, which isn't true! Jealous betrayals when the truth is a lie!

    Wow. I’ve been a fan of Tommy literally as far back as I can remember. Paradise Theatre is my earliest musical memory, I was about 4 when I heard it, and loved his voice from day 1.
    And yet, he still manages to surprise me. Dark Side, and the Beatles, ok, sure… no surprise there. But Alan Parsons? And Tommy playing jazz? So cool, and actually makes sense when I hear him say it. He’s always had such an exquisite sense of melody.

At this time I was busy with work and night school so wasn't keeping up with rock bands, and new members. Would here your great songs on the radio not knowing it was Styx. Examine the research and evidence put forward by many.
      Listen to the words of Olivia Harrison at the "Concert For George " . She greets Paul McCartney as Billy. Dana Carvey calls him Billy on tape. George Harrison calls him William, back in the day, all on tape.
      Watch Mike William's You Tube Channel "Sage of Quay". Mike is a leading researcher, along with others, regarding this subject.
      Look at the pictures of so called Paul after late 1966. Billy is several inches taller than JPM. Billy parted his hair on the right, back then. Billy had a long face back then. JPM's face was round. The Who's, "We Dont Get Fooled Again", speaks of this "parting on the left is now parting on the right". John Lennon's " I am the Walrus" speaks of "You've been a naughty boy, you let your face grow long". They are referring to Billy.
      I am not a Billy hater. I loved Wings, etc. and consider Billy a great talent. However, nothing is above the truth and that includes the music I grew up with and love. Let the truth set us free.
