I do think it has its own detachable raincover. It says so in osprey's website and in photos, it appears to be on top of the pocket he uses to store his books.
The new Aether 60 has a Anti Gravity backsupport system instead of the AirSpeed an the daylid fan be converted to a small daypack.

This pack does not include a raincover. Osprey offers their Ultralight Raincover as an accessory to purchase separately from the pack.
