I really want this exact color and in manual. Just wish no one was marking them up near me. Had to deal with the markup mess with my Type R. Lol. I want to trade it in now for a Supra.
There are dealers out there that’ll sell at MSRP, but you’ll have to look hard to find them 🤷♂️

How is this supra compared to the honda accord 2.0? Looking to upgrade to a m340i from my 2.0t. Speed wise and handling is it night and day?
It is night and day - not because they’re hugely different in power, but because they drive very differently from one other. They are both great cars in their own way 👍

Is yours auto or manual? I'll only be getting manual, but I hear the automatic has more exhaust pops and burbles when decelerating
Although the manual option was available at the time, and I was tempted, my commute would have made driving the manual Supra unbearable 😫
I just test drove a used 2.0 yesterday and still can't get over the feeling. Coming from a Mazda 3 and looking for my first 'practical' sports car, I am stuck between that, the BRZ/86 and the Miata. All chosen from a fuel efficiency, practicality and sportiness perspective.
I also drove an Infiniti Q60S and that felt like a bit slow in front of the 2.0 even with the 400+HP engine because of how heavy and sedan like it felt.
I looked at the Dyno curves of some of them and I am shocked that the twin turbo of the Supra puts out so much torque in the far lower end of the rpm range making it feel so much more faster than I thought it would feel!
What would be your take? Should I just splurge on the 2.0 rather than even trying the other ones out?
Just to be clear, are you considering the Toyota GR86, Mazda MX-5 Miata, AND the Toyota GR Supra, but the 2.0L instead of the 3.0L?

That's a tough choice. The Miata will give you the convertible, and is a fund, tossable car, but is very limited on space (not that the other two aren't but at least they have a glovebox, and decent size trunk. I've never driven the 2.0L Supra, so I can't really comment on the powertrain comparison, but it is more expensive than the other two. Personally, I think the Toyota GR86 offers a nice blend of fun, sporty nature, manual trans option, engaging to drive, AND all for a very reasonable price. I'm sure whichever one you pick, there's going to be some Pros and Cons, but in the end they all have something to offer. Good luck.

The 2.0 has about 290 pound feet of torque that engages at around 2000 rpm so you feel the pull very soon and makes for a very fun car, at least for a noob like me without revving up a lot. I drove an Infinite Q60s along with it to see how a real 400+ HP car felt and I could feel the smoothness in the Infiniti but it didn't feel 'sporty' for me from that perspective.

Some other reviewers have said you can make all the fake vents functional by opening them up. Is that true?
Yes, I have seen others either cut away, or replace the fender vents with open pieces.
Im gonna wait until the 2025 one comes out. Also need to pay off my gr86 first.😂
2025 might be the last model year for the MKV - it’ll be interesting to see if they do something special 😁

I love the Supra, I think it looks great and it’s fast. But, man, it’s claustrophobic. It scares me to think I’d buy it and then have panic attacks driving to work. That roof line just cuts your vision when looking to the left and right. You’re solely reliant on your mirrors.
I’d do it in Sonic Yellow.
I did publish a video in which I identified my “problems” with the Supra, which the visibility was one of them. However, even with the issues I have with it, I’m still glad I bought it 😁
I think the BMW 230i and M240 are better options. Back seats, usable trunk , better interior, better ergonomic, no fake scoops and an AWD option if you choose. Makes a much better daily. Supra is still suffering from the bro tax. It’s a BMW one way or another, might as well get the BMW.
Yes I agree, only reason I would get the supra is due to looks. I don't like how the 2 series exterior looks.
@postalpancho as you’ll find in a past video, I seriously considered the BMW 2 series. However, two things prevented me - the steering is incredibly numb, and I couldn’t get over the looks. It doesn’t look horrible, but it certainly doesn’t look good 🤷♂️🫤

It all depends on the individual. This is a weekend warrior car. It's literally a sports car. Cars you mentioned are coupes 😂

Much more generic-looking than the Supra, so if you want to blend in with the crowd, get the BMW.

Great car but I can't get past things like the 13 gallon gas tank, no dipstick to check oil, small infotainment and Toyota dealer BS. Really nice car though.
With the great gas mileage, the tank size really isn’t an issue 🤷♂️

Sorry, my M240i xdrive have better 0-60 and 1/4mile time, has seat for 4, quieter and smoother ride and it's 10k cheaper. So supra is not the fastest or best bang for your buck car.
But it looks ugly😂
