Ingredients
Brioche bread
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk (I used oat milk)
1/4 coconut sugar (white or brown also work)
2 tbsp buttermilk (you can make buttermilk at home by mixing 1 cup milk with 2tbsp lemon or vinegar. Let it sit for at least 30-60mins until it begins to curdles)
1 tbsp cinnamon
Maple syrup

Better to cook on a medium low heat so that the bread can toast up on the inside than being burnt on the outside and if you have time give a few minutes in the oven too

The only thing I would change with this recipe is: use a fork to scramble the eggs, that way there is less air/bubbles in the egg

It’s delicious. But as others have said you can use honey or even agave syrup or just sprinkle it with icing sugar x
