"Upcycled" Bike Light! | Turning my old, worn mountain bike cassette into a creative light!

  • This cassette came from my first mountain bike, the 2017 Giant Talon 3, which I fixed up and restored in another video (linked below). I rode this cassette into the ground with 100s of miles of trail riding, but when it came time to replace it, I held onto it, knowing I could repurpose it eventually.
    The inspiration for this project in particular came from the Pizza Pedal'r restaurant in Denver, CO, which my family and I visited on a recent ski trip. I distinctly remember the cool and unique bike inspired decor, and I'm sure I will pull from other designs I saw there for future inspiration!
    This video is not meant to be a complete step-by-step guide, but rather a glimpse into how I made the light - that said, comment below if you have any specific questions or have suggestions for future upcycling projects! I look forward to sharing my future creations with you!
