Pippi still brings joy to my heart all these years later...♥️♥️♥️
Same here ❤
Took me half of my childhood to get that song out of my head.
Haha Boom! Right back in there! ; )
_ like your traumatized today. I love that song
Pipi was much better than any children's stuff they have nowadays.
I swear, every time I hear that song it brings a,smile to my face and I just have to dance. Gosh I wish I was a kid again.
I loved Pippi Longstocking growing up! I still would love to watch them!
Me too
Thank you for this. I’m now 34, and watching the movie with my own daughter. This movie impacted my life in such a way, and this location video made me feel like a little girl again!! Thank you so much!
Watched with my daughter last night. First time in 33 years
AWESOME!! I worked on this movie as a 19yr old. I was part of the behind the scenes video documentation film crew! I can post more "facts" if you'd like? Tami "Pippi" turned 13 during that summer! Im still in touch with #TamiErin to this day!
I would love to hear more and see the scenes video documentation of behind the scenes. Is there a chance of any blooper reals or interviews with the actors?
Yesssss! More facts!!! Best Movie Evaaaaa!
Thanks for showing us this!...how neat!...I'm 43...I so remember this show!...to be a kid again!
This is amazing. I love how you blend the movie scenes and real time together.
Thanks!
It’s so well done, I agree!

Nice to see that villa is with you too.
Ok yeah this video had me in tears just seeing all of the locations brings back memories of my childhood
Thank You. I was 9 years old when this came out. I watched it almost every day during summer. I might have to watch it again for old time sake.
So cool to see Fernandina, that's where my Pa was born 90 years ago while his dad was stationed with the USCG in pursuit of the rum runners...
Wow thank you so much for the tour it was so much enjoyable to watch A awesome job...👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you so much for making this video!! I was 13 when the movie was released and bought the dvd years later. I guess you could say that I’m a child at heart! 😊

And I'm still watching it....I've just watched it again with my grandson
And today is April 25th 2023.
My mom loves The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking! She used to watch that movie when she was a kid!
I love this movie. Pippi Longstocking is still my favorite and I wasn’t even born when it was released
I was a year old when The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking came out but I was 6 years old when I first saw it on TV with my sister who was 11 at the time...I remember driving her and mom crazy cause all I use to sing was “Running Away” LoL. Watched it a few months ago with my 2 year old daughter who absolutely loves it now, I purchased it here on CZcams yesterday and so far we’ve watching it 4 times, twice yesterday and twice today 🤣
I watched her show in 88 and she's my favorite at that time.
My best friends live in Fernandina Beach. I actually use to live in Jacksonville for 15 years before moving to Melbourne. Great shots! Great video! Huge fan of your work!
My brother got married on Amelia island at the Omni Plantation Resort in June 2008. Pretty cool knowing Pippi was filmed there. I had no idea and shared this video with him. Thanks for the tour Chris. Just subbed to Leslie’s channel too.
I grew up watching all these movies your videos are about. I love how you format your content. Very cool. Nostalgic for sure!
Wow 🤩 I would love to visit this place one day I adored that film as a kid🥰 good times ❗️
Greetings from Ireland I love your pet cemetery location video keep up good work
Glad Pippi lives on, but for me nothing can replace the original Swedish TV series & films.
Thank you for the awesome memories. Love Pippi Longstocking 💜
I never watched this in any other language than Swedish!
Show off, lol
@@GreenDark45 haha, it was just weird to hear it in English, when I grew up with the original voices. I must say though, that her voice is not sounding far off from the original.
I love your ventures !!!!!! Your awesome!!!
That was fun! Thanks Chris!
Literally the best thing on the internet!!!!! Now I want to go there!!!! Thank you!!!!!
Wow!! Haha Well Done
I remember this being filmed in Fernandina. Big deal then. Things where more blue collar and layed back in the 80's.
This was great! You two should do more collaborations. I saw your other one with her at the Gatorland.
I love Pippi Longstocking stuff. :D
I Love this movie.
I absolutely loved this video!!! Memory lane. Thank u so much for making it!
This was Awesome, thx for the memories
great video ,,, i watched the movie when i was a kid ...thanks for the memories
Thank you for this! I loved Pippi as a kid...my mom used to style my hair like her excellent video. :-)
I went to school with a girl named Bridget who played Chrissy. They made us watch the movie because she was in it.
We weren’t in the same class. She was a bit younger than I was but they still made us watch it.
I was like why must we watch this?
I’m glad they made us because I fell in love with this Movie.
I forgot about it and just watched it online a couple of nights ago and I fell in love with the movie all over again. I also realized that I still remembered all of the songs.
Love this video ❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️
😂😂😂how nice of you, in villa villa culla Pippi Longstocking ❤❤❤ in Florida Pala yan big wave too all❤

I watched this movie over and over as a kid, Great video man!
I just recently discovered you on CZcams, and I really enjoy your vlogs! Thanks for the different subjects that you cover!
This was very cool. Thank you!
Cool. I didn't even know they made a US version of Pippi's adventures. I have only seen the original swedish version. But this house too looks a lot like the original Villa Villekulla.
i grow up watching pipi longstocking i miss her
Radical 😊
Well... That was unexpected... Watching pippi walking the kids across the line to save them and I'm over here sobbing...
Today's gonna be... *Fun* 🙃
❤
I love Pippi Longstocking!!!!
I didnt Know there is an American version too, apart from the Swedish one ;)
I freaking love this video and so thankful to you for letting me tag along! I had such a great time. And now when I watch the movie, I no longer have to image what it all looks like in person. Great job friend!!
Great video! Bringing back lots of good memories.
Thank you great great video 🎉❤🎉❤
I was in this movie when I was 8 years old!
Did you enjoy the experience?
Such a cool video. Thanks for doing this!
They filmed the movie "Vendetta" where I live and I was amazed at how well they could transform the area to make it look like Louisiana (meanwhile, it was in fact in Canada). One of our streets even had railroad tracks added etc... for the movie when there was no such thing on it. Palm trees etc... quite fascinating. If you watch the movie you can see some of our Towers in the background of some scenes, towers originally built to defend against an invasion from the USA. :)
wow, that's so interesting!
So so awesome love love love that show and you are so damn cute just like Josh I found you on Josh's website exploring with Josh you're just as awesome so we're going to go exploring with you and watch your videos thank you thank you thank you take care your new fan Robbie from Ohio
This my favorite movie I remember me and my sister's grew up watching this 💯😌
Wow! I lived on this island and I just happen to be going back this week, for a little visit!
The house is a fun quick stop at the Fernandina State Park
You earned a new subscriber from India....
Cheers
Cheers!
This is crazy I grew up watching this movie 🎥 back home and I live in Jacksonville. I never knew this. I’ll definitely go by the house 😁
I have the movie. One of my favorites as a kid so yep, have it in the collection
Villa Villa Koola's still standing... Whether or not they used the inside for the film, I would be thrilled if I got to live there... 1988 Pippi Longstocking was my one and only Pippi as a child. I really loved it to shreds and refused any other Pippi. XD
Ooh oops! It's Villa Villekulla.. XD I may have loved this movie as a kid but I've only just recently started reading Pippi due to not having much access to the books as a child so the spelling is something that I'm still learning.
Yes, the lack of access to the books is partly my own fault. As I said, I rejected any other Pippi. A friend of mine tried to share the books with me but I wasn't having it. It probably didn't help that they handed me a Pippi adventure that was not in this movie... lol
i loved the movies great video
This is all we had back then. Saturday afternoon and raining. Great time. But the original of course
Only seen the Swedish film and series here in Norway they were extremely popular still on tv . Didn’t know there were American version.
Great documentary! I really loved this movie as a kid. I wonder if the motorcycle still exists?
Inger Nilsson, the original Pippi...you can find her on Facebook, i think mostly Fan Accounts, STILL AWESOME and from her IMDB page still a working actress....Nice Work.
I like big cat at the end
One thing that is not mentioned is the winter scene I think. There was a snow scene. Do you know how that was done?
It so strange to see that version of Pippi, I never seen it before, but I really love the locations and the characters. I get a feeling that they have changed the phasing a bit to fit an American audience, but it look really nice and fun. Just fun to see another Villa Villekulla (The name of the house in Swedish).
Je préfère cette version
Omg I used to watch her years and years ago
6:19 He said "F*** off" LOL
Hello..... you. I like you're exploration and you.🙇♂😊 takecare.
It's so weird because I definitely haven't seen this since I saw it and everything is giving me that sense of deja vu because I definitely have seen the movie.
The Pippi from this movie now does adult movies
I never knew there was an American version... Kinda weird seeing Pipi as an American girl, especially with an American 80s soundtrack 😂
Greetings from Europe.
How in the world did u know about Pippy long Stocking young man ? But oh so thank u , use to watch it growing up every Sunday my mom , sister and I ,again thank u
I'm 51 now. Ur a good man
The start of a Mobile Instinct CZcams media empire?
I don't live far from there and will have to check out. Did you check out the old civil war fort, Fort Clinch, at the top end of the island? Thats pretty cool
I didn't get the chance to but I ll be back for sure.
the show translate to "Fifi Brindacier" [corrected typo Braindacier] in french because Pippi sounded like a naughty word
Wrong. Her name is Pippilotta Krusmynta Rullgardina Efraimsdotter Longstocking
Pippilotta Krusmynta Rullgardina Efraimsdotter Långstrumpa
Had totally forgotten about this movie. I checked up to see about it. Turns out Pippi is into some "Adult" hi-jinx now.
Yeah I saw that haha
Life seemed so much better back then
Quite interesting. I remember seeing the commercials for this movie, but never actually got to see the movie itself as a kid back when it was released. Was it any good?
Did you visit the Villa Villakulla Toystore to see if they sell Pippi related toys?
I’ve got this movie and I have studied this! They always used the side door in the movie and it shows in the movie. The door was always meant to be supposedly the side door in the indoor scenes in the movie, it has the same oval design in the glass in and around the door as the outside scenes. There’s another door just a few feet away that’s a plain door in the kitchen in the inside scenes. It also looks like took out the beautiful door, left the kitchen door, and added a window in place of where the original door in the movie was. So that beautiful windowed door with the windows around it at the side of the house was taken out sadly. It’s gone. 😢
