My man, the best way to disable the annoying seatbelt sound is to, you know, wear the seatbelt.
Just FYI. This is a Chinese model, ID4 CROZZ. European and US models are slightly different. For example, there is no USB under glove box. More over, 360 camera and related recording software are custom installed. In China, you can buy many different 360 cameras and software that goes along with it is also different.
I've watched dozens of videos about the id4 and this is the first one to mention a lot of these cool features. Thank you, sir. Very helpful.

Re: Auto Hold - If the gear is in D, then the car should not roll if I don't press the acceleration pedal. Am I misunderstanding something?

By tapping the heat and cold buttons at the same time with two fingers, you can activate the seatheating, do it again you can lower it every time! That's what I use a lot in winter, but not necessary in Dubai I expect ;-)

As shown in the video, it is right behind the glove box compartment, but you approach it from under the box. It is not easy to find. It took me 2-3 attempts to find it

That is for those versions that dont have the 360 camera like Pure or Pure+ in some countries

Shaz, Great video! Thank you for putting it out there. Question: I have a bike rack that is attached to the tow hitch. When I go into reverse, the car's emergency brakes always engage and create severe whiplash. I then installed a Curt 57245 trailer adaptor that made the vehicle think that I am towing a trailer. This is good for the whiplash, but not good because it disables the rear and side sensors. Now, I tried turning off the "maneuver braking" but it resets every time I turn off the car. Let me know if you hear anything.

You need to do some coding changes. Ask your dealer about it. But if you know how to do coding, you can do it yourself with the OBDeleven device

Hi there! You seem to be the right one to ask this: Do you know anything about the promised Vehicle to home feature on the VW ID cars? Hot to make it work and which devices you need to install to make it work.. ?
The car I have is the Chinese imported model with a lot of features not available, this is definitely one of those thats not available in my car. We cannot use any online services in these Chinese imported models, no internet connectivity
Happy to say that here in Norway that charging cable is seriously NOT a must-have on road trips. Fast chargers 150W and above have become the standard but you may sometimes need to use a 50W charger if other stalls are occupied. Overnight AC charging of course requires said cable.
Same for the US. I wonder if not including the cables on public chargers in the middle east is to protect them from the heat and other elements

Feature I love: the one-touch window up/down/lock control. I've been asking for that for years now.
One feature I wish they would would incorporate is a fingerprint reader or code to the key fob. Something you have automatically if you us your smart phone as you key.
One more thing, use the entire screen for camera view. If there's any benefit to a larger infotainment display, that would be it.

Not all these features are available in Pure+, You will have to check with your local dealer. Sometimes the dealers add extra accessories in Pure or Pure+ to make it similar to PRO

How do you get the battery percentage to show next to available range left in the drivers display? My ID4 Pro for the scandinavian market does not show it.
You will get it when you update to ID software 3.0.0. There is no other way to add it.
The ID.4 is readily available in the USA now, as the new Tennessee factory is producing some 7,000 ID.4 each month.

Yes, It overwrites the oldest video when the usb is full. Yes, it also parks in parking but when someone or something is nearby. I found videos saved where a cat was passing by

There is no comparison, German technology far superior than Japs... I would go for VW ID. any day. ID4 vs ID6 depends on your budget and family size.

I cannot show the exact location of the USB as it is behind the glovebox and it is approached from under, too dark for the camera to capture. Also keep in mind that the USB plug is not available in all models, I have a ID.4 Pro Crozz 2022 model. For closing the windows, long press the lock button on the remote.
My 22 AWD pro s does not have the mirror usb port

Can you please answer honestly, is this integrated USB dashcam you show at 7:47 original from WV installed on the production line or not?
@@derandiheissst That is correct. it is not the original camera system. I bought the car from the showroom as is and then made the video, I thought this is the original feature. But after many months, one garage guy told me that this is a aftermarket camera system that the showroom installed and didnt tell me.

2023 US models don't have the USB port on the rear-view mirror. :(

My 21 ID.4 Pro S has not had any software updates and is just a few Days short of 1 year old & has 60K miles on it , it’s a great car , but disappointed that I haven’t received updates that I was told would happen every 12 weeks or so , hopefully, I’ll get update 3.0 soon which will make some of the features you showed available on mine ! I don't want to land on 3.0 certainly so I'm awaiting guaranteed to go to something like 3.5 where fixes since 3.0 has been added.
These are dealer updates. Only they can trigger these.

I purchased the CPC 200 - T box mini for my 2023 ID4 specifically to watch my iPhone 13 CZcams and have the video in the screen. Can you please give me specific instructions in how to set that up? Phone is a connected to airplay in car. T box mini is hooked into the port in car; it is Bluetooth connected to my phone.

I have not tested it, but I guess it shoud be available as it is the same model. A few features are specific to some models, like the USB camera recording function is not available in all ID.4s
I have the ID.4 Crozz Prime imported from China, it has 360 camera, but the menu looks differently and I can't find any USB port behind the glove box. This 360 camera menu in your video does not look like it came from the factory. Is this something a dealer added?
It might have been added by the dealer, I am not sure. I bought the car for a showroom in Dubai
