I think the physics is amazing, but the subject I like most is time travel and its paradoxes.

I think the trick to the blue and white beads is that, not only are they of different densities, but the fluid in the bottle is actually TWO fluids, water and mineral oil perhaps. When you shake the bottle the two fluids mix, but then they settle and the beads meet at the junction of the two fluids. The heavy beads are too heavy to float in the mix, and the lighter beads float to the top of the mix, but the heavy beads can float in the lower fluid and the lighter beads are too heavy for the upper fluid.
